Ideas have the power to change the world. TEDxSwansea returns on Saturday 24th October 2026 with this year’s theme, Ripples of Change—exploring how a single idea can inspire individuals, transform communities and influence the world beyond. Every breakthrough, movement and innovation starts somewhere. A conversation. A challenge to conventional thinking. A moment of curiosity. A courageous decision to act. Like a ripple across water, the impact of one idea can spread further than we ever imagine. This year’s event will bring together an exceptional line-up of speakers sharing ideas across science, technology, health, education, social innovation, business, sustainability, creativity and the arts. Each talk has been selected to inspire, provoke thought and encourage meaningful conversations long after the event has ended. TEDxSwansea has built a reputation for showcasing world-class speakers alongside remarkable local voices whose ideas resonate on a global stage. It is a celebration of innovation, creativity and the belief that everyone has the potential to make a difference. Whether you’re a business leader, entrepreneur, student, educator, researcher, artist or simply someone who enjoys exploring new ideas, TEDxSwansea is an opportunity to learn, connect and be inspired. Join us as we discover how today’s ideas become tomorrow’s change. One idea. One conversation. One ripple that could change everything.

  • Dan T Rogers

    CEO Point to Point Transportation

Dan T. Rogers has spent his career asking a deceptively simple question: What if the way we’ve been taught to work, lead, and make decisions is backwards? From his start as a $6-an-hour burrito roller to building a business recognized nine times on the Inc. 5000, with no sales and marketing, Dan has focused less on figuring out what to do and more on figuring out what not to. Everything is backwards. He is the founder and CEO of WORKP2P, an ecosystem of companies, media, tools, and communities designed to redeem work. Work is not something we do, it’s something we get paid to practice life. It is something we contribute. Beats working. Dan’s mission is simple: Redeem work – the word, the place, the way.
