This is an official TEDxAmsterdam Salon event. In collaboration with Sir Adam and Dentsu Lab As the world around us navigates both extreme excess and extreme shortage, one of the most critical frontiers will be creating space for everyone, and designing spaces to play a more valuable role in the future of humanity. Agenda: 17:30-18:00 - walk-in 18:00-19:00 - interactive panel discussion 19:00-20:00 - drinks and networking Our former structures of space are being challenged: home, workplace, digital world, natural environments, all put under strain from an abundance of people and consumption behaviours. By reimagining space, how spatial infrastructure is designed, the role it plays and the value it provides in our lives, we can design for a brighter, better distributed future. Imagine office environments that integrate wellness benefits, cars as leisure environments, green space that powers cities. In a small, dense market like the Netherlands and particularly Amsterdam where there are rising house prices, diverse cultural groups, very finite space, this topic is critical to address from the social, commercial, technological and environmental perspectives and beyond. SPEAKERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON About TEDxAmsterdam Conversations, a TEDx Salon Event TEDxAmsterdam Conversations is a series of smaller, more intimate gatherings designed to foster genuine dialogue rather than one-way listening. Focused on interactive discussion and meaningful exchange between speakers and participants, each event creates space to deepen connections, spark new ideas, and reflect on culture and society together. TEDx has recognised this format as a TEDx Salon - a smaller TEDx gathering that creates space for deeper conversation, connection and the exchange of ideas between larger events.
