• Abdulaziz Sharipov

  Student, Anadolu International Lyceum | Young Inventor

  Student at Anadolu International Lyceum in Konya, Türkiye. An active inventor, he won 1st place in the Young Inventors competition by Al Beruniy International School for his Hot Meal Cooler—an invention featured as a question on the TV show "Что? Где? Когда? - Азербайджан". A Boy Scout, class and dormitory executive, and car mechanic workshop volunteer, he balances his passion for innovation with digital skills as a marketplace infographics designer and Telegram sticker creator, certified in Excel.

• Abdulla Azizov

  Head or Director of the newly organized Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency in Uzbekistan

  In 2004 he graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent with Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations. In 2003, he studied economics at Nagoya University (Japan). In 2006, he received a master's degree in Finance from the University of Aarhus (Denmark) and graduated from the Technical College of Aarhus with a professional degree in IT-programming. In 2006-2019, he worked in the field of digitalisation and automation of financial and business processes in Danish companies such as APM-Maersk A/S, Orsted A/S, Carlsberg A/S, Implement consulting group, Vestas A/S and Danfoss. In May-August 2019, Mr. Azizov worked at the State Tax Committee as an advisor to the Chairman. In September 2019, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In July 2020, he became Deputy Minister of Health. Since January 2022, he has been the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC and responsible for digitalization.

• Abrorbek Sharipov

  Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of Jobster.hr and ishGO.uz

  Abrorbek Sharipov is a prominent Uzbek tech entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, data analytics, and IT management. He is best known as the CEO and founder of Jobster.hr and ishGO.uz, innovative HR tech platforms transforming the recruitment ecosystem in Central Asia. Sharipov holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (2005). Before pivoting to full-time entrepreneurship, he spent over 18 years at Balton Trading (Asia), where he rose through the ranks to become the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Head of Business Analytics. Under his leadership, his startups have gained international traction, leading him to participate in prestigious acceleration initiatives like the AlchemistX & Silicon Valley Residency Program in California. Today, he remains a key figure in Uzbekistan's growing startup ecosystem, leveraging big data and automated tech to streamline hiring.

• Diyorabonu Mamirjanova

  Journalism Student

  Mamirjanovna Diyorabonu, an incoming journalism and communications student from Uzbekistan. I am drawn to journalism because I see storytelling as more than simply sharing information.it is a way of understanding people, questioning what we believe, and connecting perspectives. I have taken part in youth initiatives, volunteering, and public speaking, experiences that have pushed me to become more curious, open-minded, and confident in expressing my ideas. I am interested in the future of media and the role young people can play in shaping the conversations that really matter. I hope to build a career in global media where I can tell stories, ask meaningful questions, and bring different perspectives closer together.

• Eva Korneeva

  English teacher & Youth Leader

  Eva Korneeva is a youth leader, entrepreneur, and founder based between Russia and Georgia. She founded SÖZ, an initiative for opportunities that has reached 35+ students across four countries. Eva has organized educational, cultural, and civic initiatives for young people, including the first Model United Nations conference in Shakhty city. Her international experience includes the Nazarbayev University Summer Educational Program, Harvard College Project for Asian & IR, and Yale Daily News Summer Journalism Program. She is passionate about education, storytelling, entrepreneurship, and creating inclusive communities that connect people across cultures.

• Kamola Sirojiddinova

  Student at Sergeli specialized school

  My name is Kamola Sirojiddinova, and I am 17 years old. I am currently a student with a strong interest in English, education, and languages. My ambition is to become an English teacher and continue my education at a leading university, while exploring opportunities to study and grow internationally. Outside of academics, I enjoy watching films and TV series, reading, learning about different cultures and history, and improving my language skills. I am also interested in a mix of sports and creative activities like playing volleyball and badminton, besides I enjoy doing public speaking and expressing my ideas and connecting with people through meaningful conversations.

• Mukhammad Khalil

  Mukhammad Khalil is a prominent venture investor and startup ecosystem builder driving tech innovation across Central Asia. Based in Uzbekistan, he is the Founder of Startup Garage, a leading venture studio and acceleration hub that transforms early-stage ideas into market-ready companies by providing direct product validation, infrastructure, and strategic mentorship.As the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Imkon Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund, Khalil focuses on deploying capital into high-growth sectors, particularly fintech, AI, and EdTech. He previously co-founded Mohirdev, a major Uzbek IT education platform that successfully raised cross-border seed funding.A graduate of Westminster International University in Tashkent, Khalil actively bridges regional talent with global opportunities. Through crowdfunding frameworks and accelerator tracks, he is dedicated to building scalable venture infrastructure that empowers the next generation of emerging-market founders.

• Shamshod Xolmurodov

  Student at Sergeli Specialized School

  Xolmurodov Shamshod is an 8th-grade student at Sergeli Specialized School who dreams of becoming a doctor. Science has always been a favorite subject, especially learning about how the human body actually works. That curiosity led to this TEDx talk about the "Hygiene Paradox"—exploring why being too clean might actually confuse our immune systems. In the future, Shamshod hopes to study medicine at a university like Harvard, Stanford, or MIT. Outside of class, he loves anything to do with football, whether it is cheering for Liverpool football club which is his favourite, playing eFootball, or just playing football with his classmates.

• Sodiq Abdugafarov

  Student at Ideal Study

  Sodiq Abdugafarov is an incoming psychology and neuroscience student from Uzbekistan. He is drawn to this field because he sees science as more than just facts and figures—it is a powerful way to understand human behavior, question how we feel, and uncover the root of our emotions. Having actively participated in youth initiatives, volunteering, and public speaking, he has developed a deep curiosity about the human mind and a drive to share meaningful ideas. Sodiq is particularly fascinated by the power of brain chemistry and how young people can use science to better understand themselves. At TEDx, he explores the neurological processes of attraction, breaking down what actually happens in our brain when we fall in love.

• Sougand Akbarian

  Associate Professor, International Agricultural University, Tashkent, Uzbekistan

  Dr. Sougand Akbarian is an Associate Professor of English, researcher, translator, author, and TEDx speaker. Her research interests include English language studies, applied linguistics, translation studies, cultural studies, AI in education, and English language teaching. She has presented at numerous national and global conferences and served as a resource person for academic programs and Faculty Development Programs. She is the Founder and CEO of Sougand Akbarian Publications and the Founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of SOUGAND in English, an international peer-reviewed academic journal. Dr. Akbarian has authored, translated, and edited numerous books, book chapters, and scholarly publications. Her research has been published in leading international journals and edited volumes, including Scopus-indexed and Q1 publications. Through her academic leadership, research, and literary work, she actively promotes innovation, interdisciplinary scholarship, and global academic collaboration.
