The Assam Valley School Youth is an event where 31 students will be the audience on 21st November, Saturday, from 10.00 am to 02.00 pm. The speakers are- 6 students and other teachers/professors. They will all be speaking on one of the following themes- thriving through change, growth mindset; resilience in adversity and the future of learning. Each student speaker will speak for 8 minutes each while other adult speakers will be speaking for 12 minutes each.

  • Agnivh Prakash Bora

    Student

    Agnivh is a Class 12 student of The Assam Valley School. He is an ardent reader and a prolofic speaker. He has an amazing talent for public speaking, anchoring and debating. His interests are wildlife, environment and media.

  • Indapher Gisele Dkhar Nongpiur

    Student, Public Speaker & Actress

    Indapher is a Class 12 student of The Assam Valley School. She likes to engage in public speaking, debates, dialogue, group discussions and acting. She has acted and won popularity for her roles within the school. She wants to become a lawyer.

  • Khushi Bakliwal

    Student

    Khushi is a Class 9 student of The Assam Valley School. She is an excellent speaker and debater. She is also fond of singing, dancing and playing sports. Her interests are- reading and writing.

  • Narayan Sharma

    Assistant Professor, Cotton University, Guwahati

    Dr. Narayan Sharma is a senior academician born in Guwahati. He completed his Ph.D. in 2013 from National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore / Manipal University, Manipal, India. With over twenty years of experience in teaching, Dr. Sharma feels it is important to give back to the community and he loves to interact with his students.

  • Nazifa Noorine

    Student, Philanthropist and Singer

    Nazifa is a Class 12 student of The Assam Valley School. She is a very talented singer who brought out her own video album on her YouTube channel and won accolades for this venture from fellow students, teachers and musicians. She also took an initiative in an NGO related to organ donation. She is a kind, compassionate and a no-nonsense girl with meaningful ideals and a purpose in life.

  • Udayveer Singh

    Student

    Udayveer is a Class 9 student at The Assam Valley School. He is a prolific speaker with participation in several national and international debating and public speaking platforms. He is also fond of Chess and Sports.

  • Yashpreet Kaur Sehmi

    Student

    She is a student of The Assam Valley School. She is also a House Prefect of her boarding house which has around 60 students. She heads a team of 60 girls and ensures they study and manage their daily chores properly. She is a role model for a lot of her juniors. Her interests are media and dramatics.
