TEDxOrileIganmu is Lagos's newest platform for ideas that refuse to stay confined — to convention, to circumstance, to what's expected. This inaugural, independently organized TED event brings together bold thinkers, builders, and storytellers who are pushing past the limits others have accepted as fixed. On Saturday, 6th March 2027, at Rita Lori Events Centre, Surulere, one hundred people will gather for a single day of ideas worth spreading — talks that challenge assumptions, spark new thinking, and prove that boundaries exist to be crossed, not obeyed.   • Ridwan Oyenuga

    Founder & CEO, SereniMind (Youth mental health advocate & health-tech entrepreneur)

    Ridwan Oyenuga is a Nigerian tech entrepreneur and one of Africa's most recognised voices on youth mental health. He is the Founder and CEO of SereniMind, a Lagos-based mental health technology platform built to meet young Africans where they already are — on their phones — with support designed around African realities. Under his leadership, SereniMind's advocacy work has reached over 100 million people across 25+ African countries, been featured in more than 40 publications across 11 countries, and earned recognition from the United Nations, the African Union, Harvard University, and Forbes. He is a Harvard Aspire Leaders Fellow and a member of ForbesBLK. Ridwan speaks from lived conviction, not just professional expertise — his work is rooted in personal experience with people close to him who struggled without access to support. He is a sought-after voice on youth wellbeing, digital advocacy, and building technology for African contexts.
