• Duong Cong Van

  Actor & Performer

  Công Dương is an actor and performer with over 13 years in the entertainment industry. His career spans both the Vietnamese and Thai markets, weaving through a wide range of creative fields, from film and television to music and live performance. Few people know that his connection to Thailand, and the inspiration behind his talk "You Don't Have To Know Yet," started with a single afternoon back in 2013, when he stumbled across a Thai-language video online purely out of curiosity. He wasn't thinking about a career, let alone moving to another country, he just wanted to pick up a few words for fun. Thirteen years on, Thai has become the language he speaks every day, a fluency that crept in quietly, with no warning at all. At TEDxFPTUniversityHCMC 2026, themed "The Right Time," Công Dương will share his own story, on how a chance beginning can take you further than you ever imagined.

• Hieu Nguyen Duc

  Ballet Dancer & Choreographer

  Nguyễn Đức Hiếu is a Ballet Dancer & Choreographer whose journey in dance began in 2013. From his early training at the Vietnam Dance College, he continued his ballet studies at the San Francisco Ballet School, followed by two years as a trainee with the San Francisco Ballet Company. Returning to Vietnam, he is now a performer at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet, where he has taken on roles in productions such as Ham Le Minh Chau, Dong Ho, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Don Quixote, and many others. His journey has also been marked by remarkable achievements, including the Gold Medal at the 2020 National Dance Talent Competition for Pas de deux Le Corsaire, the Gold Medal at the 2024 International Dance Festival, and the First Prize in the Dance Performance category at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Arts Festival. Yet beyond these accolades lies a journey shaped by countless steps, lines, and moments on stage where he allows the body to tell stories that words sometimes cannot.

• Luan Nguyen Canh

  Educator, Author & Content Creator

  Mr. Nguyễn Cảnh Luân is an inspiring educator, author, and content creator. He is the founder of Language for Life and the author of the IELTS Speaking Journey series as well as the bilingual poetry book "Someone would love me for me." Having graduated from RMIT and Foreign Trade University, his dynamic career spans multiple creative fields, intertwining teaching, content creation, acting, public speaking, and music production. In his talk about the "Quarter-life crisis," Mr. Cảnh Luân challenges conventional wisdom with an unexpected perspective: a crisis isn't a breakdown, but rather a life's "system update notification." He pulls back the curtain on the journey of discarding the script handed to us by society (Life OS 1.0) to courageously explore, experiment, and rebuild a more authentic, liberated version of oneself driven by intrinsic values (Life OS 2.0 & 3.0).

• Mai Hoang Tuyet

  Himalayan Singing Bowl Master

  Hoàng Tuyết Mai is a pioneer in developing Himalayan Singing Bowl practices in Vietnam, the Founder of SHAN Healing, an author, sound performance artist, and Himalayan Singing Bowl Master. With 14 years of experience working with sound, meditation, and mental well-being, she has dedicated her journey to research, practice, and sharing approaches that help people relax deeply, listen to their bodies, and reconnect with themselves. In her talk, Hoàng Tuyết Mai explores a familiar state: the body is already lying down, but the mind has not truly rested. Drawing from her personal story and 14-year journey with sound, she invites the audience to experience a moment of pause, listen to their bodies, and recognize when enough is enough. Because sometimes, The Right Time is not the time to move forward, but the time to know when to stop.

• Mai Lam

  Designer & Artist

  Mai Lâm is an artist, designer, and one of the notable names in Vietnamese fashion. She creates her own artistic world from the memories she has carried throughout her life. From her childhood years in Saigon, to her journey of leaving Vietnam and eventually returning, every experience preserved through her senses has gradually become part of her creative journey. In her talk, “When Memory Becomes Art,” Mai Lâm opens the door to her “memory vault”, a place where everything she has lived, seen, and felt is preserved and transformed. A stream of water becomes “Diamond Bubbles”. A fleeting line of light across the sky becomes “The Thin Line”. Rather than recreating the past, she allows memory to take on new forms through colour, texture, movement, and art.

• Ngoc Pham Tuan

  Mr World Vietnam

  Phạm Tuấn Ngọc is Mr World Vietnam 2024, working across fashion, performing arts, and digital media as a model, actor, and content creator. Through his diverse journey, he has continued to explore new creative fields while building his identity as a multifaceted young figure. Before stepping onto the international stage, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Language from the National Economics University. During his university years, he served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Economics Youth Union and was named NEU Glamour King 2019, marking an early chapter in his journey of self discovery. In 2024, he was crowned Mr World Vietnam, becoming Vietnam’s official representative at Mr World. On the international stage, he achieved the title of 1st Runner Up at Mr World 2024 and was named Mr World Asia, marking a remarkable achievement for Vietnam at the competition.

  Podcast Host, Content Creator & Founder of 1ON1 Podcast Tracey Bùi

  Tracey Bùi is a Podcast Host, Content Creator, and Founder of 1ON1 Podcast. Before stepping into the world of content creation, she built her career in Marketing as a Brand Manager, gaining experience in branding, strategy, and turning ideas into tangible results. After years of following a path that seemed clear and successful, Tracey chose to step beyond the familiar and explore the things that genuinely sparked her curiosity. In her talk, “Best advice for in your 20s: Productively waste it!" Tracey Bùi invites us to rethink a question many young people quietly carry: what if the years that seem wasted were actually preparing us for something we could not yet see? At TEDxFPTUniversityHCMC 2026, themed THE RIGHT TIME, she will share how detours, failures, and seemingly unrelated experiences can become part of the preparation for the opportunity that eventually arrives.

• Veronica Lawrence-Ortega

  Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership / CEO & Co-Founder, Inclusivity EQ LLC

  Dr. Veronica Lawrence-Ortega is a retired U.S. Navy Master Chief with 24 years of service, now a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership and CEO and Co-Founder of Inclusivity EQ LLC. Her career bridges military command rooms and deep research on artificial intelligence, sitting right at the intersection of people and technology. In her talk, "Hired in a World That Doesn't Exist Yet," Dr. Veronica Lawrence-Ortega tackles a question that sounds almost impossible to answer: how do you prepare for a job that hasn't been invented yet? She pulls back the curtain on a quiet but consequential gap, between the people who actually know how to use AI and the people currently deciding what happens to their careers. At TEDxFPTUniversityHCMC 2026, themed "The Right Time," Dr. Veronica Lawrence-Ortega shares her own story of recognizing the right moment to step into a new technological era, without losing what makes us human.
