TEDxKemerburgaz Okyanus College Youth

Growth is not a destination, but a lifelong process. As we learn, create, experiment, make mistakes, start again, and change, each of us finds ourselves at a different point in our own journey. Because, in one way or another, we are all in progress. With the theme “IN PROGRESS,” TEDxKemerburgaz Okyanus College Youth brings together speakers from a wide range of fields—including sports, art, gastronomy, science, technology, and digital technologies—to share their ideas and experiences, inviting young people to explore growth, change, and transformation from different perspectives. Youth is perhaps one of the stages of life when being “in progress” is felt most strongly. Today’s young people are navigating their own growth in a world where technology, knowledge, and ways of life are changing at an unprecedented pace. Discovering who you are, exploring what you want to do, trying new things, making mistakes, changing direction, starting again, and evolving alongside a changing world are all natural parts of this journey. For this reason, TEDxKemerburgaz Okyanus College Youth aims to offer young people more than stories with neat conclusions. It seeks to create a space that reminds them that growth is an ongoing journey and that each of us is at a different stage of our own. By bringing Okyanus College students together with different lives, disciplines, ideas, and perspectives, this event is not about reaching a single destination. It is about moving forward, transforming, staying curious, and continuing to change along the way. We are not meant to remain the same. We are all in progress.
