In line with TEDx principles, the program will feature carefully curated idea-driven talks designed to share context-based insights without promoting specific agendas. Through a multidisciplinary approach, TEDxUniversitasLambungMangkurat emphasizes the importance of understanding interconnections between issues and the processes through which change unfolds at both local and broader scales. By bringing local perspectives from South Kalimantan into wider conversations, the event aims to contribute to a more dialogic academic culture, encourage cross-sector knowledge exchange, and expand collective understanding of change as an ongoing and dynamic process.

    Gastin Gabriel Jangkang, mahasiswa Program Profesi Dokter Fakultas Kedokteran, terpilih sebagai delegasi resmi Indonesia dalam program Standing Committee on Research Exchange (SCORE) 2026 yang diselenggarakan oleh International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA). Gastin akan menjalani program pertukaran riset klinis selama satu bulan penuh di Tunis, Tunisia, pada bulan Oktober 2026. Dalam program bergengsi yang memfasilitasi pertukaran riset medis bilateral ini, Gastin terpilih setelah melalui serangkaian seleksi nasional oleh Center for Indonesian Medical Students Activities (CIMSA) Indonesia. Ia akan bergabung dalam jaringan global yang melibatkan mahasiswa kedokteran dari lebih dari 90 negara. Gastin menjadi representasi pemuda Kalimantan Selatan yang membawa misi untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu riset medis tingkat lanjut di kancah internasional.
