  Andy Murihano is an MYP 3 student at Still I Rise International School, youth leader, and co-founder of Invisible Kindness, a movement inspiring people to respond to unkindness with kindness. Passionate about leadership, science, and community service, he enjoys swimming, football, and basketball. Andy aspires to become a cardiovascular surgeon and establish a free medical school, believing that quality healthcare, education, and kindness can create lasting change in communities around the world.

  Azziad Nasenya is a celebrated Kenyan media personality, actress, and content creator, serving as a leading voice in East Africa’s digital culture and entertainment space. A creative entrepreneur and social media pioneer, she transformed a massive viral movement into a powerhouse brand spanning broadcast media, global partnerships, and youth mentorship, and is widely recognized as a trailblazer in Africa’s creator economy and a fierce champion for youth empowerment and digital literacy.

• Blessing Elvain

  Blessing Elvain is a hard working MYP2 student who enjoys and loves mathematics, science, and sports. Blessingloves robotics club because he believes that that club is really helpful. He also believes that robotics can be his backup work.Blessing believes that when he grows up he will be a scientist or a robotist and use the money he earns to help the needy people.

  Blessy Mpano is a determined and talented boy from Nairobi whose curiosity inspires him to explore the world around him. He enjoys learning new things and is always eager to discover how different ideas and objects work. His adventurous mindset and passion for knowledge make him a creative and hardworking young person.

• Emmanuel David

  Emmanuel David is an MYP 3 student at Still I Rise International School Nairobi. He is passionate about aviation, learning new things, and making a positive impact through kindness. In his free time, he enjoys running, riding bicycles, participating in sports, and other physical activities. Emmanuel believes that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in people's lives. When he grows up, he hopes to become an airline transfer pilot, combining his love for aviation with a career that connects people around the world.

• Giovanni Volpe

  Lawyer

  Giovanni Volpe is the General Counsel and a Board Member of Still I Rise, overseeing the organization's legal affairs and the global macro-management of its educational programs for vulnerable children. An international law expert and humanitarian, he previously worked in international law firms across Paris and Nairobi before leading the opening of groundbreaking schools for refugee and exploited children in Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Colombia, and is widely recognised for his innovative approach to international cooperation and child protection.

• Gloria Monga Mfumwabana

  Student

  Gloria Monga Mfumwabana is an IB MYP 1 student from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, currently studying in Kenya. She enjoys reading, writing, and music, and believes in the power of storytelling to inspire change. In her TEDx talk, Changing Cobalt into Thought, Gloria shares her journey from the cobalt mines to the classroom. Her objective is to encourage greater investment in education and help the world recognize the resilience, potential, and dreams of Congo's children.

• John Bade

  John Bade is a student at Still I Rise International School in Nairobi, currently in MYP 4. He is passionate about physics and literature and is driven by his ambitions of becoming both a successful entrepreneur and a Formula One driver. Curious and eager to learn, Bade enjoys exploring new ideas, taking on new challenges, and developing his skills through activities such as fencing. He believes in the power of kindness, compassion, and understanding, and hopes to help create a world where peace, love, and respect for others are at the heart of every community.

A human rights activist and bestselling author, he transformed a grassroots teaching initiative in a Greek refugee camp into a global network of groundbreaking schools, and is widely recognised as a fierce champion for children's rights and a pioneer in democratizing elite education for the world's most marginalized youth.

A Strathmore Law School alumnus and dedicated youth mentor, he built a dynamic career around competitive academic debating, frequently serving as a core adjudicator for international championships, and is widely recognised as a champion for cultivating the next generation of African leaders and advocates.

• Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba

  Professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba is one of Africa's most prominent legal scholars and advocates for good governance. A PhD in Law from Ghent University, former Director of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission and author of over 12 books, he is a passionate voice for Pan-Africanism and African solutions to African challenges.

Drawing her journey from an orphan girl to fleeing Rwanda and rebuilding her life in Kenya, she encourages audiences to turn challenges into opportunities and believe in the future they can create. "
