  • Bob Bao

    Student

    Bob Bao is a Grade 11 student at BJ80 High School. He once investigated Wabi-sabi culture (the culture of imperfection), from the lens of sociology.

  • Coco Liu

    Student

    Coco is a 11th grade student who has held seminars discussing the mythologies across the world. Coco is a humanities student who wants to introduce a new way to develop this world. He can also name 20 breeds of dogs.

  • Jian (Jay) Runshen

    Student

    Jian (Jay) is a grade 11 student at BJ80 High School. He is the captain of grade 11's football club. Jay teaches physics to grade 9 students to help them improve their grades. He was given a level 9 certificate by grade 9 officials as a result of his work with grade 9 students. Jay plans to pursue a career in physics in the future. He also has a desire to travel.

  • Linda Li

    Student

    Linda is a grade 11 student at BJ80 High School. She excels in drama such that she turned the play "Thunderstorm" into a school elective, designed the lessons for the elective and organized rehearsals for the same. Linda loves sharing relatable real stories, not just lectures. Linda wants to break the myth that learning is either strict planning or aimless exploring."

  • Lisa Li

    Student

    Lisa is in Grade 11 at BJ80 High School. She has volunteered to teach children in orphanages, helping them express themselves through art. Lisa has been drawing since she was 5 years old. She is also skilled in sketching, oil painting, water color, and other techniques.

  • Mia Landeck

    Mia Landeck is an Evaluation Analyst at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, where she works on assessing the development and climate impacts of large‑scale infrastructure projects across Asia. Originally from the United States, she completed her undergraduate studies at NYU Abu Dhabi and later earned her master’s degree at Peking University. A proud alumna of BJ80, Mia credits both her classroom education and the many formative experiences beyond it with shaping her path

  • Sophie Dong

    Student

    Sophie is an 11th grade student at BJ80 High School. She is the school Mirror Business Club President. She helped the club design manufacturing and selling BJ80 special school merchandise. She will be speaking about the perspectives of wealth and why it is a major part of our lives. This also includes how we can find ways to contribute to our community.

  • Vivian Kuang

    Student

    Vivian is a grade 11 student at BJ80 High School. Vivian plays a lot of different sports such as badminton, volleyball, swimming, and rock climbing. Vivian enjoys making videos about her thoughts. She believes her speech will give you further thoughts on gender inequality.

  • Yanqing (Yuna) Wang

    Student

    Yuna is a grade 11 student at BJ80 High School. She is a total "panning enthusiast" who loves making color-coded, hour by hour study plans. She even has a special notebook just for various detailed plans. Yuna will be speaking about real learning experiences to show the problems of a single learning method and the charm of combining two styles.
