• Danielle Sidman

  Student

  Danielle Sidman is from Boston, Massachusetts. She is a senior at Beaver Country Day School and will be a freshman at Duke University next year. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, spending time with friends, and playing board games.

• Edward Henry

  Teacher

  Edward Henry, a child of both New England and California, is in his second year as a teacher at Beaver Country Day School. He has been interested in outer space since kindergarten when he colored his moon purple. More recently, Edward wrote a masters thesis on outer space law and policy, created (& co-taught) an interdisciplinary, high school course on outer space studies, and always contemplates new activities to explore the rich world of Cold War outer space politics. Edward is a new boxer, currently in training for Haymakers for Hope. When not ferociously brainstorming new lessons or jumping into the ring, Edward enjoys reading speculative fiction with a cat in his lap and savoring delicious food of all sorts.

• Ezra Devonshire

  Student

  Ezra Devonshire is from Boston, Massachusetts, and is a junior at Beaver Country Day School. In his free time, Ezra can be found drumming, reading, skateboarding, or trying his best in pickup soccer.

• Lauren Young

  Student

  Lauren Young is from Weston, Massachusetts, and is a junior at Beaver Country Day School. In her free time, she loves playing volleyball, reading, and spending time with her family and friends!

• Russell Bollag-Miller

  Teacher

  Russell Bollag-Miller is an English teacher at Beaver Country Day School. He holds degrees in Educational Leadership from Harvard's Graduate School of Education, English Literature from Middlebury College, and English Literature from Skidmore College. In addition to teaching at Beaver, Russell has taught in New England and international boarding schools, where he developed a passion for helping students explore the power of stories to shape how we understand ourselves and the world. Outside the classroom, Russell enjoys leaning new crafts and skills, long-distance backpacking, skiing, traveling, cycling. He lives in Jamaica Plain, Boston.
