Henry Mosley
Musician, Producer, Mentor
Henry Mosley is a professional musician and is retired from the U.S. Department of Justice. He has invested his time and talent in grooming young musicians in the performing arts. His mentoring repertoire includes orchestral, jazz, funk, disco, and chamber music. Henry has stage-managed performances for neo-opera, big band, gospel and orchestra. He produces performance projects which gives musicians and artists opportunities that they have not received in the greater Houston region. Henry’s professional music theater projects include the reworking of Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha, the adaptation of Chevalier St. George’s opera L’Amant Anonemae, the Rosa Cuthbert book revision of Once on This Island, and the variation of Black do-wop music Little Shop of Horrors. Henry also coordinated music support for the Poseidon Playhouse productions of The Wiz, Dreamgirls, Lion King, Color Purple, and Grease. Productions include Philly Soul and H-Town Disco at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston Texas.
