Moving beyond grades and job titles, this event highlights adaptability, identity, wellbeing, innovation, and ethical decision-making as essential skills for life and leadership. Through powerful talks and real stories, this TEDx School of Modern Skills Youth event invites the UAE’s next generation to rethink readiness , not as a destination, but as a mindset for navigating change, uncertainty, and opportunity.

  • Dr. Nathalie Sabbagh

    Campus Director -Saint Joseph University- Dubai

    "Nathalie Sabbagh has been the Director of the USJ Campus in Dubai since January 2023. She is also a lecturer at the USJ School of Law in Dubai. She was project manager at the USJ Professional Mediation Center in Beirut. She obtained her bachelor's degree in law from USJ, her master's degree in family law from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University (France), and a Certificate of Aptitude for the Professional Practice of Mediation from USJ. She defended her doctoral thesis in criminal law and criminal sciences at the University of Lyon 3. She has also worked as a consultant for local and international organizations on issues related to juvenile justice and restorative justice. Nathalie Sabbagh is also an expert in non-formal education through her involvement in scouting and youth associations. "

  • Dr. Rania Medhat

    MOE Subjects Coordinator | Professor | Arabic Curriculum Specialist | Educational Leader | Researcher | Certified Trainer | MCE | UAE Golden Residency

    Dr. Rania Medhat Ahmed El-Sayed is an educational expert in Arabic language curricula and teaching methodologies, combining strong academic expertise with extensive practical experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from Mansoura University, along with a Master’s degree and professional diplomas in curriculum development and teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, in addition to certification in Quran recitation (Riwayah of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim). She has held key leadership roles, including Head of National Curriculum and Arabic Department, and currently serves as Head of MOE Subjects Coordinator in Dubai, focusing on curriculum planning, teacher development, and educational quality aligned with MOE standards. Dr. Rania has published research, authored books, and delivered advanced teacher training on assessment, differentiated instruction, and literacy strategies.

    As a passionate Educational Management Director with a lifelong commitment towards education and people development, Jan has 30 years of experience in the education sector. Having gained experience in all levels of education from Primary to Tertiary, more than half of this time has been spent in senior management positions up to executive director level. An educator at heart, Jan believes in providing quality education and providing pathways of development and support to students through strong industry relationships and collaboration.

    As a passionate Educational Management Director with a lifelong commitment towards education and people development, Jan has more than 25 years of experience in the education sector. Having gained experience in all levels of education from Primary to Tertiary, more than half of this time has been spent in senior management positions up to executive director level. Specialized in business excellence, strategic and operational planning, organizational governance, and performance improvement, with hands-on expertise in ISO management systems, EFQM, and government excellence frameworks.Led the development and execution of corporate strategic plans, KPIs, organizational structures, governance models, and performance management systems for diverse institutions, supporting more than 25 organizations in strengthening institutional effectiveness, enhancing accountability and operational efficiency, improving stakeholder alignment, and achieving international standards and recognized excellence awards.

She focuses on professional career development and actively supports women and girls in STEM, working to break barriers and expand opportunities. With extensive experience across education and industry, Nancy designs and delivers tailored training programs that equip students, professionals, and organizations with essential career skills. As a Certified NCDA Master Trainer and Global Career Development Instructor, she collaborates with educational institutions, government entities, and corporate organizations to elevate standards and promote sustainable growth. Through workshops, mentorship, and consulting, she bridges the gap between theory and practice, building impactful and future-ready career development frameworks.
