Dilan Patel
Dilan Patel is a clinical medical student who has become increasingly interested in a problem most clinicians haven't caught up with yet. Through work with MedTech startups and building digital health tools, he has become increasingly interested in the changing dynamics between clinicians and patients in the age of social media. His interests sits at the intersection of medicine, technology, and how patients understand health information — exploring how trust, technology, and online narratives are reshaping modern healthcare.
Kate Julia
Kate Julia is the Founder and CEO of VirWave OAM, Inc, where she develops emotional regulation technology for high-pressure environments. Her work explores how stress shapes human behaviour and how organisations, policies, and systems can be designed to respond more intelligently to it.
Shivan Kotecha
Dr Shivan Kotecha is a London based General Practitioner, clinical leader, and medical educator passionate about improving how healthcare adapts to an ageing population. As a Clinical Lead for Frailty and a tutor in Clinical and Professional Practice at UCL Medical School, he works at the intersection of frontline medicine, education, and system innovation. Through his work, Shivan focuses on helping clinicians move beyond reactive care towards more personalised, preventative, and compassionate approaches — particularly for patients living with complexity and frailty. He is interested in how small changes in communication, leadership, and clinical thinking can create meaningful improvements for both patients and healthcare professionals.
Yadukrish Karthikeyan
Yadukrish Karthikeyan is a first-year medical student at UCL with a passion for space medicine. Having represented the UK at NASA's Kennedy Space Centre, and now working with industry experts at the Space Science and Engineering Foundation, Yadu brings a unique perspective to one of medicine's most uncomfortable truths - that despite decades of medical progress, we are still failing to keep people healthy. They believe the answer lies somewhere unexpected: in orbit.
