• Aiza Mulla

  Student

  Aiza Mulla is a 10th grade student and TEDx speaker at iCademy Middle East. In her speech, "A Memory Box," she will explore how small, meaningful objects like tickets, notes, photos, and childhood keepsakes can hold powerful memories. Through these items, she explains how even short, fleeting moments can have a lasting impact, shaping identity and personal growth over time.

  Aleena Mobeen is an 8th grade student and a TEDx speaker at iCademy, who likes piano, art, and most importantly: public speaking. Her speech "Pain as a Building Block" will reflect on how a short moment of pain can change you forever, and how you can use pain to build yourself.

• Hisham Jamali

  Student

  Hisham Jamali is an 8th grade student and TEDx speaker at iCademy Middle East. He has been very interested in public speaking and has given a speech at the first iCademy Talks event. On May 16th 2026, he will be exploring how an ephemeral introduction to video games led to a permanent hobby of gaming, creating memories and friends.

  Iman Kurgas is an 8th grade student-speaker at iCademy Middle East. She explains her TEDx talk as follows: "Delving into the paradox of time and decisions, my speech gives light to a decision many teens go through at some point—Now or later? Fun or future? Live in the moment or prepare for what's coming? But sometimes…the outcome isn’t really yours to choose, or is it?"

• Islam Benazzouz

  Islam is a seventh-grade student. In 2022, he was recognized as “Top Reader in the UAE.” But that achievement didn’t just give him a title, it transformed the way he thinks. With this award, he discovered that real success is not what you win, but what you become in the process. Through discipline, belief, and persistence, he built a mindset that continues to shape his journey. Today, he describes himself as driven by growth, fueled by learning, and committed to inspiring others to believe in themselves, because yes, they can.

• Jean-Roy Gewargis

  Student

  Extending greetings from Jean to you! Jean-Roy Gewargis is a 13-year-old avid public speaker with two sisters. He loves all kind of sports, especially football. He enjoys occupying himself with fishing and chess in his free time. His talk will explore the Power of Persistence and how it relates to Ephemeral Permanence.

• Jenna Raslan

  Student

  Jenna Raslan is a junior at iCademy Middle East. She is a part of many clubs, including the debate club, MUN, the NHS, and much more that make her experience in public speaking. Jenna gave a speech during our last event on how being lost between cultures can make you feel like you have nowhere to belong to and ended it off by stating: “I finally learned that it’s okay to belong to all of them, even if none of them fully belong to me,” emphasizing how important it is to look at things from a new perspective. Jenna will be presenting another speech in the upcoming event about how chaos can feel like a curse in the moment, but when it’s gone, you realize it was the biggest blessing.

• Kar Nursali

  Kar Nursali is a freshman passionate about personal growth, identity, and ambition. She is driven to explore what it means to dream big at a young age while still discovering who she is. As an active student, she continuously seeks opportunities to learn, grow, and step outside her comfort zone. In her talk, she reflects on how identity is not only personal but also historical, encouraging others to look beyond the surface and consider how the past continues to shape who we become.

• Raya Saraireh

  Student

  Raya Saraireh is an 8th grade iCademy student. She is extremely passionate about music and writing; she spends most of her free time writing lyrics. Her speech invites viewers to see the good in something horrible, that a painful loss can lead to growth. She speaks about losing her closest friend and how the disdain, though first felt painful and melancholic, transformed her into becoming who she is today, strong and confident.
