TEDxCUI Wah brings the global TED spirit directly to COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus. As students, we often find ourselves wondering how to take what we learn in class and turn it into real-world independence. That is why our inaugural conference is centered on a theme that matters to all of us: "Finance, Startups, and Financial Freedom for Youth." Our goal isn't just to talk about theory—it's to spark practical action. We’re bringing together founders, fintech leaders, creators, and bold student voices onto one stage to share the real stories behind building businesses, managing money smart, and navigating modern careers. Beyond the talks, it’s a space to connect. Attendees get to meet guest speakers directly, exchange ideas with ambitious peers from across computing, engineering, and business, and walk away with practical takeaways to start building their own future today.

  • Adan Khokhar

    Historian, Lecturer & Competitive Athlete

    Adan Khokhar is an educator, researcher, and badminton player. Alongside his academic work teaching American history, he actively advocates for the power of sports in developing discipline, teamwork, and mental resilience. Through his speaking and teaching, Adan inspires young people to cultivate a growth mindset, pursue academic curiosity, and build lifelong leadership habits.

    A technology architect, trainer, and digital transformation consultant with 26+ years’ experience, 18+ years of training, 150,000+ learners, 290+ certifications, 1,700+ talks, 180+ media appearances, and experience as a corporate trainer for leading organizations across EMEA.

  • Fahad Masud Lone

    Managing Director ( DM Consortium/ Serene Heights Group)

    Fahad Masud Lone is a Pakistani entrepreneur with a versatile background spanning law, real estate development, hospitality, and manufacturing. After earning his LLM from Cardiff University and completing the Bar Professional Training Programme at Manchester Metropolitan University, he transitioned from legal practice and education to business innovation. He is the founder of Serene Heights, where he spearheaded signature resort-style living and tourism infrastructure in Nathia Gali before expanding the concept into Lahore. Alongside his hospitality ventures, he drives industrial manufacturing through Lonetex, building sustainable, cross-sector enterprises across regional and international markets.

  • Hassaan Ahmed

    Finance Executive Fp&A (Financial planning & Analysis) / Nayatel

    Hassaan Ahmed is a finance professional working in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Nayatel and the founder of Fluctie. Dedicated to democratizing financial literacy, he builds predictive tools and educational frameworks that empower young people to understand and navigate modern investing. Through his grassroots initiatives, Hassaan has enabled more than 100 young investors to open accounts and actively participate in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

  • Irtaza Hassan

    Founder Wall of Hope / Founder TUTIFY

    Irtaza Hassan is an emerging leader in education and youth empowerment, recognized as the youngest recipient of Pakistan’s Presidential Award for Social Work. A member of the Prime Minister’s National Youth Council, he is dedicated to expanding access to transformative higher education. As an award-winning counselor recognized as the Best Counsellor of the North Region, Irtaza has secured over $5.7 million in global scholarships, opening doors to top-tier international universities for deserving students. At TEDx, he shares his vision for dismantling educational barriers and equipping the next generation with the resources to drive systemic impact.

    Laiba Aftab is a Pakistani entrepreneur, content creator, and founder of a modest fashion brand, HAVVA, a brand built from the ground up. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, creative problem solving, and encouraging young people, especially women to explore their potential beyond conventional expectations.
