• Christine Roy

  Structural Engineer and Senior Project Manager at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger

  Christine Roy is a structural engineer and senior project manager at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger in Waltham, MA, specializing in analysis, design, and retrofit of nuclear facilities. She has served as project manager for major engineering efforts, including the structural analysis and retrofit of the world’s first microreactor test bed at Idaho National Laboratory. She graduated with an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2005 and is the past Chair of the American Nuclear Society Northeastern Section and currently serves on the board. Beyond engineering, she organizes volunteer initiatives, mentors peers and young adults, and teaches in children’s ministry, creating spaces where people can support one another in practical ways. At home, she has a loving husband, is raising two children, baking sourdough, and planning her next trip to a national park or a Disney destination, bringing the same curiosity and care to everyday life as she does to her work.

• Jose Cristoff Arce

  Co-Founder and CEO of Tidefield

  JC Arce is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tidefield, an AI-Powered deep tech company scaling methane reduction projects to serve 1B cattle and achieve ~6.5 gigatons of CO2e reductions over the next decade. A 24 year old Filipino-American entrepreneur, JC studied at USC and previously scaled ventures across industries like fintech and food, including a Techstars-backed web3 games studio and a 4x Michelin-guide restaurant. As a 2x UN Delegate and former LA City Council Representative, JC developed expertise navigating the intersection of climate innovation, infrastructure, and regulatory systems. To date, JC’s work has reached over 40 million people worldwide and been recognized by outlets including TIME, Forbes, and The Los Angeles Times.

• Joseph Sedarski

  Composer

  J. A. J. Sedarski is a composer praised by the Boston Musical Intelligencer for "showing a deeper understanding of harmony." His work has been performed internationally and draws on his Mexican heritage, real-life events, and the natural world, blending bold, dramatic gestures with moments of striking intimacy. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition from Boston University and writes criticism for the Boston Classical Review.

• Katya Mazurenko

  Physics Student @ UPenn | Vagelos Integrated Program of Energy Research (VIPER)

  Katya is a DS alum currently pursuing bachelor's degrees in physics and electrical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. She is heavily involved in energy research, specifically in power. Currently, she is working on building a 300MHz DC-AC amplifier for a medical application. Outside of academics, she is a rock climber and American Ninja Warrior coach!

• Tyler Mola

  Director of Operations at the Cardiac Crusade

  Tyler Mola is an incoming medical student and advocate for community-driven healthcare innovation. As Director of Operations of Cardiac Crusade, a national nonprofit committed to improving survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest, he focuses on expanding impact through AED awareness and mapping initiatives. He recently helped lead a Massachusetts campaign that successfully mapped nearly 1,500 AEDs across the state. His TEDxYouth talk explores purpose, action, and the idea that meaningful impact doesn’t require waiting for the “right time” or a formal title to begin.
