This year’s theme celebrates the transformative power of ideas that grow, spread, and inspire others. Just as one flower blooming can spark an entire field into color, one inspired mind can ignite change that ripples through communities and beyond. “The Bloom Effect” invites us to explore how creativity, resilience, and connection can turn moments of inspiration into movements of growth. Speakers will be sharing their stories of inspiration—how small beginnings can blossom into meaningful impact. How can we, as individuals and as a collective, nurture environments where ideas flourish and inspiration multiplies?

  • Bao Anh Pham

    Bao Anh is currently a 10th-grader at Concordia Hanoi. She usually spends her free time playing basketball, watching movies, or eating. Her speech explores how growing up and societal pressures slowly dim that natural spark. She believes that simple, sincere actions can inspire others the same way children naturally do.

  • Chau Anh Nguyen

    Chau Anh is currently a junior at Concordia Hanoi. Growing up, she has always been interested in understanding how ideas influence the way people think and act. This TEDx talk reflects her curiosity about how inspiration works beyond the moment it is felt, and what happens after people feel inspired.

  • Clara Kim

    Clara is a current sophomore at Concordia Hanoi. Her hobbies include pole dancing and traveling with family. She enjoys taking naps and exploring new interests in her free time.

  • Haneul Jung

    Haneul is a 6th-grade student at Concordia International School Hanoi and a passionate violin player. As an active member of the Vietnam Youth Orchestra (VYO), she understands that growth requires patience and practice—just as everything in nature takes time to bloom. As she seeks new challenges and spreads her wings, Haneul looks forward to a bright future where music continues to serve as a vessel for empathy and global connection.

  • Hyewon Lee

    Hyewon is currently an 8th grader at Concordia International School in Hanoi. Her favorite book is "Factfulness," also about the world and our misconceptions by instinct. Her goal for this TEDx is to inform people about reality and trigger them to reflect on their personal lives as well.

  • Jungwon Lee

    Jungwon is an 8th grader at Concordia International School Hanoi. She enjoys writing and learning history, as well as cultures. She is particularly interested in human psychology and the characteristics of the human mind. It is her 10th year living in Vietnam, and third year here at Concordia.

  • Lisa Antony

    Lisa is a Grade 11 student from Concordia International School Hanoi. Her TEDx talk reflects on the quiet, often overwhelming experience of growing up in a world that never seems to slow down. Through personal stories and generational contrasts, she explores uncertainty, childhood, and what it really means to "live life to the fullest."

  • Lydia Chun

    Lydia Chun is a current 8th grader in Concordia International School Hanoi. Through her speech, she wants to explain overconsumption, particularly in the beauty and makeup industry, as it has become an increasing problem in the status quo.
