• Amy Cardoso

  Head of School

  Amy Cardoso is the Head Teacher of Martin House College in Zambia, where she has led the growth of a vibrant academic and cultural community since its founding. Passionate about education, leadership, and values-driven growth, she has guided hundreds of young people through pivotal moments in their lives. Drawing on her own personal journey of challenges and triumphs, Amy speaks with honesty and conviction about resilience, faith, and the lessons that shape us. She believes in the transformative power of perseverance — not as a public performance, but as the quiet strength that carries us forward when no one is watching. Outside of education, Amy is a devoted mother who loves the outdoors, travel, and finding joy in life’s everyday adventures.

  Ayanda is a vibrant 11th Grade learner with a love for the color blue, a passion for sports like netball and hockey, and a gift for connecting deeply with the people around her. She thrives in spaces where she feels comfortable and she finds joy in helping others as well as joining events that challenge her to grow.

• Clement Sinyangwe

  Information Communication Technology specialist

  Dr. Sinyangwe is a seasoned ICT professional and leader with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology, business, and ethics. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in ICT with a focus on Ethics of ICTs (Cybersecurity), a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from NIPA, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Zambia in collaboration with Zimbabwe Open University, a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Computing from the University of Greenwich, and Diplomas in Management of Information Systems and in Information Systems & Programming. He is the President of the ICT Association of Zambia (ICTAZ), Chairperson of the Research Committee at the Technology Information Confederation for Africa (TICONA), Member of the National e-Government Technical Committee (2023–2026), and Member of the ICT and Digitalization Technical Working Group under the Presidential Public-Private Dialogue Forum.

  Elisha Banda, known as Coach EB, is a passionate coach, mentor, and motivational speaker who believes in the power of sport and guidance to transform lives. With a strong background in sports, outdoor education, and leadership, he is dedicated to helping people build discipline, resilience, and teamwork. His mission is to inspire others to view challenges as opportunities to grow, lead, and create a positive impact.

  than Sakala is a 12-year-old student at Lusaka Oaktree School with a big passion for innovation and imagination. Always curious and full of ideas, Ethan believes that imagination is the first step to creating a better future. His journey is fueled by his desire to share how powerful imagination can be — especially in the hands of young minds.

• Jaxen Blount

  Jaxen's love for music began at a very young age—around the age of five. Although he didn’t have the best influences for music, it always lingered in the back of his mind. By the time he was ten, he started to take music more seriously and began experimenting with different sounds. That was when he got his first guitar. He wasn’t very good at first—his fingers would ache from playing, and he only knew one song. Yet, despite the struggle, he kept going. Even though he knew he wasn’t great, there was a persistent drive that kept him playing

• Sephania Sanoj

  Student

  Sephania Sanoj is a student at Lusaka Oak Tree School. Her passion for classical dance began at the age of 12, when she performed a traditional dance during a talent day organized by her Malayalam association. Since then, she has continued to study and refine her skills in classical dance. Beyond dancing, Sephania also enjoys playing sports.

  Shane is passionate and creative with a deep love for learning and discovery. He has a strong interest in science, especially biology where he enjoys exploring how living things work and connect with outside world. Outside classroom, Shane is an enthusiastic tennis player, finding discipline, focus and joy on the court.

• Shingirai Mutambirwa

  Chartered Accountant

  Shingirai Mutambirwa is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA with a specialism in Strategic Planning. With over ten years of experience in finance and administration, Shingirai currently serves as the Finance and Accounts Manager at Turtle Insurance Brokers. Driven by the concept and practice of entrepreneurship for the development of Africa, Shingirai is a growing leader with a strong passion for effective public speaking. In 2023, Shingirai participated in the Toastmasters Southern Africa Speaking Competition and secured third place, an achievement that has enhanced his skills as a Master of Ceremony and host at both corporate and social events. He is also deeply committed to discipline and healthy living and is an avid practitioner of martial arts

  Victoria Lanyero Onyango is a 15-year-old female student. She loves knitting, baking, and reading. Victoria is a friendly, dedicated, and hardworking student with a curious mind. She dreams of becoming a lawyer one day.
