• Alexander Lieffering

  Student

  Alexander has been a student of bilingual education at Jacob van Liesveldt for 6 years. He likes music. When he’s not pursuing his studies he is playing the bass guitar. He is interested in the human psyche and in how people perceive the world around them.

• Alexander Szadkowski

  Student

  Alexander has been a student at Jacob van Liesveldt for 5 years. He enjoys going to the gym, both for physical exercise as well as for social interactions. He loves everything to do with music, like playing the guitar, harmonica and accordion, as well as listening to music.

• Alisha Taragel

  Student

  Alisha is currently in her exam year of secondary school. Together with her research partner, she will present their final research project to the TEDx audience.

• Ivo de Rooy

  Student

  Ivo has been a student of bilingual education at Jacob van Liesveldt for 4 years. He plays golf and has a strong interest in video games. He wants to pursue an active role in the creation of video games and is interested in how video games affect the people playing them.

• Jillian Hadisoebroto

  Student

  Jillian is currently in her exam year of secondary school. Together with her research partner, she will present their final research project to the TEDx audience.

• Martijn van der Meer

  Biologist and researcher

  Martijn van der Meer (22) actively researches fossil bird remains, primarily from the North Sea. He graduated from Jacob van Liesveldt in 2021 and from his BSc Biology in 2025. He is currently studying in Bonn. His main focal points are birds of prey and ducks, which will be featured extensively in his TEDx talk.

• Milan Dekker

  Student

  Milan has been a student at Jacob van Liesveldt for 5 years. He is very energetic and enjoys playing video games and listening to music. He plays drums and his favourite artist is Michael Jackson.
