  • Ayana Haddad

    Student

Ayana Haddad challenges the idea that success starts when someone else believes in you. In a world where many of us stand in the back — waiting to be chosen, encouraged, or noticed — she explores how real growth begins the moment we decide to step forward ourselves. Through personal experiences in dance and beyond, she reveals how shifting your position, even before you feel ready, can open doors you never thought possible. This talk is for anyone who’s ever held back, overthought, or waited for the “right time.” Discover why being seen isn’t about ego — it’s about courage, initiative, and taking ownership of your future. Because sometimes, the only thing separating you from opportunity… is one step forward.

  • Celena Younes

    Student

Celena Younes is a scout who has grown up experiencing connections on and off screens just like every other person. Through scouting, she has discovered how simple moments and even challenges together can create meaningful bonds between people. In her talk, Celena reflects on what these bonds have taught her about connection in the real world where most of our communication happens through screens. By sharing stories from her scouting journey, she invites the audience to rethink how relationships are formed and how feeling connected to the other really is.

  • Elina Abboud

    Student

Environmental Activist and Artist Elina Abboud is a young environmental activist and artist who believes creativity can change the world. Through her work, she inspires her generation to protect the planet and turn awareness into action.

  • Joya Mallo

    Student

At just 16 years old, Joya is already a passionate voice for leadership, growth, and meaningful change. Having participated in numerous MEU and MUN conferences as both a delegate and advisor, she has developed a strong ability to communicate, persuade, and inspire others through powerful ideas and thoughtful dialogue. Driven by her belief that growth often begins with release, Joya’s TEDx talk explores the art of letting go; of unhealthy habits, limiting relationships, painful friendships, and anything that no longer serves who we are becoming. Through her words, she hopes to encourage others to choose themselves, embrace change, and find strength in moving forward.

  • Kate Eid

    Student

Meet Kate Eid, a high school student asking a simple question we rarely think about: what happens when we do nothing? In a world of constant noise, scrolling, and distraction, Kate explores something we often ignore—boredom, and how quickly we try to escape it. In her TEDx talk, Why Boredom Is the Skill We’re Losing, she looks at boredom through both science and personal experience, and challenges the way we see it—not as emptiness, but as something deeply connected to creativity, focus, and how we think. She invites us to slow down, step back from constant stimulation, and reconsider the value of silence in a world that never stops talking. Are you afraid of your own thoughts?

  • Liana Awedissian

    Student

Liana Avedissian is a student, speaker, and aspiring lawyer with a strong interest in law, communication, and the power of individual voice. In her talk, Liana explores the idea of silence, not as weakness, but as something that can shape identity, influence decisions, and determine when and how people choose to speak. She reflects on how young people navigate expectations, judgment, and self-expression in a world that often tells them when to be quiet and when to be heard, encouraging others to think more consciously about their voice, their choices, and the role silence plays in both.

  • Marc Anthony Bou Sleiman

    Student

Marc Anthony Bou Sleiman is an IB1 student with a strong interest in engineering and the future of sustainable aviation. Although he keeps himself busy with Physics, classical piano and art, his mind always revolves around the same curiosity about human behavior, social issues and the way ideas shape our world. Through his TedX talk, he aims to challenge perspectives and spark more honest conversations on familial interactions in a world where communication is often misunderstood.

  • Nay Bteich

    Student

Nay Bteich is a 16-year-old student who believes that growing up is not only about achievements but also about understanding ourselves. She enjoys balancing sports, innovation, and self-expression; the kind of activities that allow her to express both energy and creativity. Her talk focuses on a lesson many people quietly learn: growth doesn’t always mean holding on tighter—it sometimes means letting go peacefully. She discusses the idea that personal growth involves setting boundaries, redefining relationships, and understanding that outgrowing people is a part of becoming who we are meant to be.

  • Nye Rachmani

    Student

Nye challenges the idea that strength in sports is purely physical. By shedding light on athletes’ mental health, she advocates for a shift toward balance, vulnerability, and long-term well-being.
