• Chun-Hung Lee

  Ph.D.

  — If I Hadn’t Been a Basketball Athletic Scholarship Student, Would I Be Working in Sustainability Today? Dr. Lee Chun-Hung holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from National Chung Hsing University and currently serves as a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies at National Dong Hwa University, while also holding the position of Chief Sustainability Officer at the university. His areas of expertise include environmental resource management, resilience thinking and adaptive capacity, environmental economics, and sustainable development. In recent years, Dr. Lee has shifted his research focus toward topics emphasized by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), particularly the impacts, risks, and adaptation strategies related to climate change, as well as the technological feasibility of mitigation measures, decision-making tools, governance options, and public acceptance of climate mitigation policies.

  — Interests are not just entertainment; they are a source of strength. Natalie is an online Japanese teacher and educational content creator. She graduated from National Taiwan Normal University and spent one year as an exchange student in Tokyo. During the pandemic, she transitioned into online Japanese teaching and completed more than 4,700 lessons within two years. She has supported students from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, and those planning to work in Japan, helping over 100 Japanese learners turn their language studies into pathways toward their dream lives. With a social media following of over 100,000 people, she shares Japanese learning content through fandom culture, anime, and real-life travel experiences in Japan. By breaking away from traditional teaching methods, she transforms personal interests into motivation for learning and life-changing growth, striving to make Japanese a powerful tool for expanding opportunities and achieving dreams.

• Ruei-Zhe Ting

  Ding Rui-Zhe is currently a senior student in the science track at Nanshan High School. He previously served as the president of TEDx Nanshan and the school volleyball club, and he is also deeply passionate about photography. Having spent most of his life in the science track, an unexpected opportunity led him to make the bold decision to switch to the humanities track and pursue his dream of becoming a film director. However, repeated attempts and setbacks caused him to question himself: What if he becomes a director? What if he never does? Carrying the weight of constant doubts and pressure that often left him struggling to breathe, he still chose to trust his own decisions and beliefs. Through persistent effort, he gradually overcame challenge after challenge. If he could start life over again, would he still choose this path of chasing dreams built with sweat and laughter? He doesn’t know. But as someone who has already walked this road, one thing is certain—he made it through.

  — If There’s No Way Back: How Do We Take the Next Step? Yu Wei-Lin is a firefighter who has remained steadfast on the front lines. Over the past decade, he has participated in more than 3,000 rescue and emergency medical missions, witnessing firsthand both the fragility of life and countless miracles. He firmly believes, “I hope that because of my existence, this world can become just a little more positive.” Beyond disaster response, he is also deeply committed to promoting fire safety and first-aid education, traveling across Taiwan to train tens of thousands of students and transforming real-life experiences into deeply inspiring lessons.

• Ying-Chu Chen

  — If Fate Takes a Detour, Perhaps It’s Meant to Help Me Discover a More Complete Version of Myself Chen Ying-Chu is a traditional Chinese medicine physician and illustrator. She graduated from the post-baccalaureate program in Traditional Chinese Medicine at China Medical University and currently practices at 風澤中醫診所. Her specialties include acupuncture, traumatology, internal medicine, and cosmetic acupuncture treatments. On Instagram, she created the page “有病中醫師” (“The Sick Doctor”), where she shares illustrations inspired by everyday clinic life, personified Chinese herbal medicine, and health education content. Through lively and engaging artwork, she helps the public better understand traditional Chinese medicine, herbal remedies, and common modern health conditions. She is also a member of Medique Think Tank and the GCM Association.

• Yueh Chen

  — When Life Doesn’t Follow the Script: An Unconventional Career Experiment Yueh, the host of the podcast 鍵盤球探, previously worked in international consumer goods corporations and advertising agencies, building over ten years of experience in marketing. Throughout his career, he specialized in brand strategy and market promotion, while gaining extensive experience in cross-industry collaboration and project management. Eventually, he made the bold decision to leave the stability of the corporate world and pursue full-time content creation. By combining his professional expertise with his passion, he is dedicated to promoting the development of grassroots baseball in Taiwan and advancing awareness of sports science. Through content creation and knowledge sharing, he hopes to help more people better understand and engage with Taiwan’s sports ecosystem.
