• Harsh Mallela

  Harsh is a Grade 11 student who is driven by curiosity about growth and learning, and its broader connection to the longstanding debate on free will vs. determinism. In his pursuit of further exploration on improvement, Harsh created an app, “Habiteur,” which serves as a platform for every individual to measure their progress and achievements, as well as cultivate a global community focused on self-improvement. Through Habiteur, Harsh hopes that he will not only empower every individual to unlock their true potential but also achieve sustainable success.

• Isabel Cheng

  Isabel Cheng is a Grade 12 student who explores how identity shifts through creative expression. Reconnecting with an art form she once left behind revealed to her the quiet ways creativity transforms, inspiring her to reflect on how expression evolves with us.

• Kenneth Kwok

  Kenneth’s love affair with the imaginative worlds of the arts began as a boy, writing and directing school plays at the age of 12. His professional journey includes being a secondary school Literature and Drama teacher, Director of Arts & Youth at the National Arts Council, and now, CEO of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

• Lane Graciano

  In the midst of her 25-year teaching career, Lane organized her first TEDxYouth with two of her literature students. She briefly became a TED translator, and in 2018 she attended TEDWomen on a scholarship, meeting such attendees as Chris Anderson (former Head of TED) and Tarana Burke (founder of the Me Too movement). Lane is passionate about design, poetry, music, who makes things, how things work, why things fail, and what makes us go on.

• Sergi Ramos-Calderer

  Sergi is part of Singapore’s National Quantum Computing Hub as a quantum scientist working on bringing quantum solutions to useful problems. A member of the thriving quantum community in Singapore, he is passionate about research and outreach on the mysteries of the quantum world.

• Shreyansh Seth

  Shreyansh Seth is a Grade 11 student with an immense passion for the field of STEM and philosophy. Unravelling through the disciplines of physics and chemistry, Shreyansh has stumbled upon many interesting and equally philosophical concepts, such as time and disorder. He wishes to take these concepts and synergize them, exposing the vivid correlation between arguably the two most important fields of study ever discovered, Philosophy and Science. As an aspiring Engineer, he wishes to share his views on the importance of disorder in relation to the universe as well as humans themselves. In his free time, he enjoys reading and swimming.

• Susan Grigsby

  For over 30 years, Susan has applied creative imagination to her role as a Teacher-Librarian in the United States, Singapore, Japan, and Thailand. She is a singer, a writer, a storyteller, and an experiential learner who is consumed with curiosity and interested in almost everything.

• Yirong Ni

  Yirong Ni is a Grade 11 Full IB student and leader of the SNAP Interview Club and Business Club at SAIS. Passionate about inquiry and community dialogue, she participates actively in debate and cultural events, contributing to a more diverse and inclusive school community through Chinese cultural initiatives.
