  Bhavana Jain a gold business mentor, entrepreneur, and software developer working at the intersection of tradition and technology. I specialize in helping women — especially those with no prior background in the jewellery industry — start their own B2C gold and diamond jewellery businesses right from home. My focus is not on large showrooms or high-risk investments, but on structured, low-investment, trust-based models that allow women to begin small and scale sustainably. I am the founder of Prakash Jewel, which gives me practical, ground-level experience in the gold trade — from sourcing and pricing to customer handling and profit structuring. Alongside running a jewellery business, I have also developed industry-specific digital tools like GrowOn and TikMak to simplify billing, inventory management, QR-based systems, and business reporting for jewellers.

• Dr. Shivani Naik

  Assistant Professor at NMIMS University

  Dr. Shivani Naik is an Assistant Professor at NMIMS University, Mumbai, a Ph.D. holder and Post-Doctoral Scholar with over 15 years of academic and industry experience. She holds multiple qualifications including MBA, M.Com, B.Ed., PGDHE, ECCEd, and UGC-NET, reflecting strong multidisciplinary expertise in education and management. She is the Winner of the Harvard Impact Challenge 2023 and has been nationally recognized as an NPTEL Megastar by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
