  I have dedicated more than ten years to teaching subjects related to the atmosphere and climate change, at both the high school and university levels. Over this time, I’ve realized that while climate change is discussed from a very young age, few people truly assimilate that their daily actions are a part of the Global Warming problem. Because the effects are not immediate, many perceive it as something distant—a possible future rather than a present reality. We advocate for "caring for" the planet, yet in practice, we continue without changing our habits.
