  Alba Sofia Prado Garza, a thoughtful 6th-grade student, invites her audience to explore one of humanity’s biggest questions in her talk, "The Purpose in Life." She is excited to present such profound and challenging questions today. For Alba, this isn't just a philosophical exercise; she believes that discovering one’s purpose acts as an essential internal compass, providing the direction and meaning necessary to navigate the world.

  Bruno is 11 years old, and he loves imagining, learning new things, and exploring cool ideas. He is especially inspired by stories that make him dream, like the magical world of Harry Potter, which has helped him think creatively and believe in the power of imagination. In his talk, Bruno shares an important message: that even the smallest voice can create a powerful impact. Through his words, he invites us to reflect on how what we say—and how we say it—can truly change people and the world around us.

  Camila Jiménez es una alumna de 4to de preparatoria, de 16 años y le gusta leer, escribir, pasar tiempo con sus amigas y le gusta mucho reír a carcajadas. Con su plática titulada nacimos para ser felices no para ser perfectos nos hablará de cómo nuestra mente es la primera en echarnos para atrás. Recibamos con un aplauso a Camila.

• Lucca Razo

  Lucca Razo, a 5th-grade student, invites his audience to reflect on a common scene in everyday life: people spending more time on their smartphones and less time truly connecting with those around them. In his talk, “We Need More Human Interactions,” he explores this growing habit and shares a simple method made up of three steps to help change it. For Lucca, this topic is important because he believes that by reducing our attachment to cellphones, we can become more aware of our surroundings and build more meaningful connections with others.

  An 8th grade student, who is 14 years old and is very passionate about art, reading and Greek mythology. She is also a fan of Japanese series known as Anime’s. This is her second TEDx talk and she is very excited to be here again.

• Montserrat Mancera

  Student

  Montserrat is 18 years old and has spent most of her life chasing big dreams, from her house to the stage, from the classroom to the world. She is someone who feels everything deeply, who sets the bar high for herself, and who has learned, not without stumbling, that life does not wait for the perfect moment. Today she wants to talk about something she is still figuring out, and perhaps we all are.

  Nicolás Pérez, es un alumno de 5º grado que nos invita a reflexionar sobre una acción cotidiana pero poderosa: saludar a los demás. En su plática, “Acciones para conexiones”, explora cómo algo tan sencillo como un saludo puede generar vínculos humanos significativos. Nos cuestionará sobre cuántas personas nos han saludado el día de hoy desafiándonos con la idea de que, en realidad, todos deberían haberlo hecho. Para Nicolás, este tema es importante porque nos invita a detenernos un momento y reflexionar sobre si estamos construyendo conexiones sanas y genuinas con quienes nos rodean.

  Nicolas Seeman, a very perceptive and compassionate sixth grader is here to share his talk: What We Don’t Talk About: Self-Harm. He begins by inviting the audience to reflect on what self-harm is and what causes it, highlighting that it is more common than people think and that it can have many different causes. He believes this topic is important because it can help others notice when someone might be struggling.

  María Renata Sánchez Díaz cursa su primer año de preparatoria y tiene 17 años. Las personas que la inspiran a estar aquí hoy son su familia y el hecho de que tiene una historia que contarle al mundo. En su tiempo libre le gusta leer y escuchar música, pero, sobre todo, inspirar a la gente a seguir adelante; por eso está aquí.
