This TEDx event celebrates ideas that show how everyday choices, local initiatives and human connections can create ripple effects far beyond their starting point. By bringing together diverse voices and perspectives, the event highlights the power of shared values and supportive networks in shaping a more empowered future. Rising with Hope is about moving forward with purpose, proving that even the smallest steps can lead to meaningful and lasting change.

  • Dr. Ayman Dayekh

    Dr. Ayman Dayekh is the Founder and Managing Director of AZRE Consulting, with over two decades of leadership in business transformation across multiple industries. He bridges the gap between strategy and execution, leading digital transformation initiatives in complex, high-stakes environments across the region. His experience spans work with diverse organizations and international teams, where complexity is the norm and execution is critical. Dr. Dayekh holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Côte d’Azur University, focused on AI and digital transformation in the GCC, along with executive education from multiple reputable institutions. He is a life long learner and researcher on Generative AI applications in business and organizational contexts.

  • Dr. Imad Abou-Hamad

    Imad Bou-Hamad is a Lebanese researcher, data scientist and Associate Professor at the American University of Beirut. He is widely known as the creator and host of “The Researcher” on LBCI, where he transforms research and data into engaging stories that connect science, society and everyday life. His work focuses on analytics, human behavior and using data to drive meaningful social impact.

  • Farah Abi Mosleh

    Farah Abi Mosleh is a community development practitioner, social entrepreneur and co-founder of NOVAI, an AI-powered platform helping NGOs, social enterprises and impact-driven organizations access funding opportunities, develop stronger proposals and connect with expert support. Farah holds a Master’s degree in Community Development from American University of Beirut, which strengthened her expertise in participatory development and sustainable community change. With over eight years of experience across humanitarian response, fundraising, women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship in Lebanon and the MENA region, she combines grassroots field experience with deep knowledge of international donor systems. Her work focuses on using innovation and technology to make funding more accessible, inclusive and effective.

  • Jihan Chehayeb

    Jihan Chehayeb is a Lebanese architect and founder of Jihan C., a design studio that reinterprets history, language and cultural identity through contemporary design. Jihan's work is driven by a curiosity about what we’ve inherited, often without realizing it. Through her work, Jihan invites us to reconnect with our roots, not as something that separates us, but as a foundation that can bring us closer together, bridging cultures.

  • Nizar El Joukhadar

    Nizar El Joukhadar is a Vocal Transformation Coach, Sound Healer and ICF-certified life coach who helps people reconnect with their authentic voice as a reflection of their nervous system and emotional state. He integrates breathwork, vocal expression and somatic practices to support emotional release, regulation and clear communication. Through his work, Nizar has guided hundreds from silence and tension to expression, confidence and embodied presence, redefining the voice as a gateway to truth and personal power.

  • Omar Kaskas

    Omar is a digital media creator and tech educator known for making technology and artificial intelligence accessible to Arabic-speaking audiences. Through engaging content, training and public speaking, he simplifies complex digital concepts and helps individuals and organizations understand how to leverage AI and emerging technologies in everyday life and business. He is widely recognized for his ability to bridge the gap between technology and people through clear, practical and relatable communication.

  • Rebecca Akl

    Rebecca is a professional basketball player with a strong commitment to excellence both on and off the court. As Co-Founder of Brainers Basketball Academy, Rebecca is dedicated to developing young athletes, fostering discipline, ethics and a deep understanding of the game.

  • Tia Kaedbey

    Tia Kaedbey is a visual artist and an environmental and human rights activist based in Lebanon. She is the heart and hands behind Fairylistiic, Lebanon’s first CD-upcycling project that was recognized amongst the top 3 green initiatives in Lebanon in 2024. When she’s not painting or advocating for the environment? She’s advocating for human rights! In 2023, at only seventeen, she was a shortlisted finalist in the British Embassy’s “Ambassador for a Day” program. Her first article was later published with Every Woman Treaty in 2024 and she graduated from their fellowship in 2025.

  • Zeina Daroub

    Zeina Daroub is a resilience and transformation speaker, former corporate executive, co-founder of InOut Academy for Training and Coaching and founder of Blossom Beyond Adversity. With expertise in NLP, grief-informed coaching, leadership and mind-body integration, Zeina guides professionals and leaders through life's most defining transitions, turning loss into clarity and change into possibility. She is also the author of two Arabic books on resilience.
