Aperture - Focus, Contract, and Expand

Took placeAugust 16, 2025
LocationHà Nội, Ha Noi, Vietnam

Stepping beyond the “Breakpoints” of the past, we now stand at a crossroads. The choices we make today-how we think, act, and adapt-determine the clarity of our vision. But how do we make sense of what comes next after a moment of profound transformation? Has our worldview remained intact, or has it shifted? Have we expanded our aperture to welcome new opportunities, or unknowingly narrowed it to a single perspective? Like a camera lens, our minds have an aperture-a mechanism that shapes what we focus on and overlook. It is more than just a setting in photography; it is the key to perception, intuition, and growth. A wider aperture lets in more light but also narrows the depth of the field, blurring the background and sharpening focus on specific details. A smaller aperture, in contrast, brings more of the scene into focus, ensuring a broader yet sometimes less distinct view. In navigating life’s complexities, how do we adjust our aperture, balancing focus, clarity, and openness to new dimensions of understanding? With “Aperture - Focus, Contract, and Expand”, TEDx FTUHanoi 2025 invites you to examine how you see the world. It is a space to adjust, contract, and expand your own aperture-exploring blind spots, embracing new perspectives, and uncovering “Ideas Change Everything” in your journey of self-discovery.
