Rising from the Foothills: Wellness, Wisdom & Tech-Driven Futures

Took placeFebruary 6, 2026
LocationSiliguri, West Bengal, India
FormatUniversity
Nestled in the serene foothills of the Himalayas, Inspiria Knowledge Campus stands as a hub of learning, creativity, and transformation. North Bengal is a land where tradition meets modernity, where communities carry the depth of age-old wisdom while embracing the promise of a global, tech-driven future. Our TEDx theme, “Rising from the Foothills: Wellness, Wisdom & Tech-Driven Futures”, draws inspiration from this unique landscape. It is both a metaphor for emergence and a call to action—celebrating the journey of ideas, people, and innovations rising from local roots to shape global narratives. At TEDxInspiriaKnowledgeCampus, the foothills symbolize resilience, growth, and aspiration. Just as every foothill holds the promise of a summit, every idea has the potential to spark transformation. The theme connects three powerful strands: 🌿 Wellness – Rethinking physical, emotional, and societal well-being in a fast-changing, interconnected world. 🧠 Wisdom – Drawing from culture, heritage, and lived experiences to guide choices in leadership, education, and life. 💡 Tech-Driven Futures – Exploring how technology, creativity, and innovation can build inclusive and sustainable pathways for tomorrow. By hosting TEDx on our campus, Inspiria reaffirms its vision of shaping leaders and thinkers who are deeply rooted in values yet unafraid to embrace change. We believe the most powerful ideas are not confined to metropolitan centers — they can emerge from every corner, every community, every individual. This TEDx experience will invite speakers, students, and participants to reflect on the balance between the local and the global, the timeless and the cutting-edge, the personal and the collective. Together, we will discover how big ideas can rise from humble beginnings — and how, from the foothills of the Himalayas, we can look towards horizons that inspire the world.
