• Alex Louvel

  Alexandre Louvel is a junior at Crystal Springs Uplands School and a competitive sprint swimmer representing the French Junior National Team. Trilingual in French, English, and Chinese, he is the CFO and Head of Marketing at DineFineAI, a student-founded AI startup, and writes The Verdictorial, a blog covering politics, philosophy, and film. Alexandre is passionate about the intersection of human attention, philosophy, and modern technology.

• Alex Min

  Alexander Min is a current student at Crystal Springs Uplands School in Northern California. At school, Alexander is involved in Mock Trial, Model UN, school instrumentals, and the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. He is also interested in video editing, creative writing, and space and astrophysics. Previously, Alexander lived overseas in Hong Kong for five years, attending Hong Kong International School, before moving back to the US in seventh grade. His experiences living in different places have shaped how he thinks about change and how it can influence who we become.

• Chiara Luey

  Chiara Luey is a graduating senior at Crystal Springs Uplands School and an incoming Cornell University student studying Environmental Engineering. She is the Founder and Creative Director of Energizing Youth, a clean energy education initiative making sustainability more accessible to younger students. Chiara has worked with Peninsula Clean Energy and Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action to advance electrification outreach across schools and local governments, impacting over 9,000 students. Her technical work spans energy storage, carbon capture, and EV infrastructure modeling including published research. She also serves as a delegate for the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, bringing a youth perspective to global conversations on climate and sustainability. Driven by a passion for making clean energy accessible, Chiara is committed to bridging the gap between innovation and adoption, reshaping how communities trust and use sustainable technology.

• Evan O'Keeffe

  Evan O’Keeffe is a high school student with a strong interest in analytical thinking. He is passionate about understanding how systems shape outcomes over time. Beyond academics, Evan is involved in competitive tennis, piano, and debate, where he applies discipline and consistency to improve performance. He is particularly interested in building effective habits, optimizing productivity, and exploring how small, repeated actions can lead to meaningful long-term success. Through his work and experiences, Evan aims to develop practical systems for growth and share insights that help others reach their full potential.

• Luciano Vitale

  Luciano Vitale is a student at Crystal Springs Uplands School. He is also an active member in his community, serving on the Burlingame Youth Advisory Committee, where he ensures that every youth voice is listened to. He is a successful cross country and track athlete, musician, and student. Some of his interests include running, playing the trumpet, and spending time with his family.

• Max Lopez - Tang

  Maxwell Tang is a student at Crystal Springs Uplands School with interests that span both athletics and academics. As a dedicated swimmer, he spends significant time training in the pool, where consistency, endurance, and focus shape his approach to challenges both in and out of the water. Alongside athletics, he has a strong interest in global history, particularly how ideas, technologies, and societies evolve and influence one another over time.

• Nathan Salins

  Nathan Salins is a student leader, public speaker, and creative storyteller passionate about building meaningful connections through conversation and media. He is the creator and host of two student-led podcasts: in the first, he interviews teachers who share their life stories beyond the classroom, and in the second, he speaks with entrepreneurs and professionals across the Bay Area, highlighting their journeys, challenges, and insights. Nathan created these podcasts because he cares deeply about relationships and the networks people build, and he wanted to give others a platform to be heard and understood. Outside of podcasting, he enjoys golf, theater, and playing the saxophone, which have all helped shape his confidence, creativity, and communication skills. Through leadership and public speaking, Nathan is driven by a passion for bringing people together and exploring how connections shape opportunity and growth.

• Neel Mummaneni

  Neel Mummaneni is a 9th grade student in Crystal Springs Uplands School. with a strong interest in biology, genetics, and emerging medical technologies. As a STEM Invention Studio student and AP Biology student, he is passionate about exploring how scientific innovation can transform healthcare and society. He has also participated in the USA Biology Olympiad (USABO), deepening his interest in genetics and molecular biology. Motivated in part by personal experiences with family illness, he is especially interested in the future of gene editing technologies such as CRISPR and the ethical questions they raise. Through his TEDx talk, he hopes to encourage more people to engage with the scientific advancements that may define the future of humanity.

• Oliver Smith

  Oliver Smith is a high school freshman and competitive athlete who has been a mainstay in the pool since the age of seven. Balancing the rigors of high-level training with his studies, Oliver is also fluent in both English and Mandarin. Through years of early morning practices and intense competition, he has developed a deep interest in the psychology of resilience and the impact of community on personal performance - themes he explores by connecting his experiences in the water to the broader challenges of high school life.
