• Carmen Gaxiola

  Human Development Consultant

  Carmen Gaxiola is a Human Development Consultant with extensive experience in administrative leadership across service, commercial, and construction sectors. Her work integrates financial, operational, and compliance strategies with a strong focus on human capital as a driver of organizational performance. She is CEO of CAP Consultores, where she leads projects in human development and corporate training, designing programs that strengthen leadership, organizational culture, and team performance. Her approach centers on aligning people development with sustainable business results. She holds a degree in Accounting, a specialization in Finance, and master’s degrees in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources and in Quality and Productivity. She is also a certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and executive coach, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Senior Management.

• Cielo Aguirre

  Human Rights Advocate for Migrants

  Cielo Aguirre is a Mexican activist advocating for the rights of migrants and the LGBTTTQI+ community, with a focus on Tijuana along the U.S.–Mexico border. As a trans woman and human rights defender, she has collaborated with organizations such as World Central Kitchen, providing food assistance and humanitarian care to migrants from Latin America, Russia, and Africa. Her work centers on supporting trans migrants in contexts of forced displacement, offering health guidance and community care, including her involvement with the Jardín de las Mariposas shelter. She has helped build support networks for migrants across Mexico and Latin America. Cielo contributes to initiatives defending the right to asylum, promoting dignified healthcare for people living with HIV, and advancing trans rights. As part of Border Butterflies Project, she works to create safe spaces and advocate for inclusion, dignity, and justice.

• Elisa Ibañez

  Human Capital and Social Security Specialist

  Elisa Ibañez is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in Social Security and Human Capital, with over 34 years of experience in payroll taxation and employee benefits. She is a partner in the Human Capital Tax practice at Mauricio Monroy Contadores. Her work includes conducting social security and housing fund audits, advising companies across multiple sectors, and developing employee benefits structures. She contributed to the development of the Compensation and Benefits practice at Deloitte in Baja California and Sonora and has participated in national-level initiatives. She has held leadership roles in organizations such as COPARMEX and INDEX and is an active speaker and contributor to specialized publications.

• Gabriela Roldan

  Mentor in conscious leadership.

  Gabriela Roldán is a speaker and conscious leadership mentor, founder of Visión Valiente, a digital platform designed to support evolving leaders. With over 16 years of experience across the social, political, and business sectors, she has built a career focused on impact and transformation. Based in Tijuana, she hosts the podcast Diferente y en Grande, where she explores growth, purpose, and leadership. Her global experience includes representing Mexico at the Leadership Academy of the Americas in Bolivia and at the Global Partnerships Summit at the United Nations in New York, as well as participating in international forums in the Netherlands, the United States, and Panama. She has been a candidate for Mayor of Tijuana and Federal Deputy, and has held leadership roles within COPARMEX and the Red Cross in Tijuana. Gabriela is committed to elevating consciousness in leadership, empowering individuals to create meaningful change in their lives, their communities, and the world.

• Graciela Zamudio

  District Judge

  Graciela Zamudio Campos is a District Judge with over twenty-five years of experience in access to justice across both judicial and non-judicial institutions in Mexico and internationally. She holds a law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho, a Master’s degree in International Law from the University of Nottingham, and specialized studies in Legal Argumentation, Constitutional Law, and Amparo. Her career reflects a strong commitment to human rights, including key roles at the National Human Rights Commission and as founder of Alma Migrante, an organization dedicated to strategic litigation in defense of migrants’ rights. She actively promotes an open and accessible approach to justice through her professional work and public engagement.

• Lorena Almaraz

  Women’s Leadership Coach

  Lorena Almaraz is a trainer and coach focused on personal development and women’s leadership. Her work centers on guiding women to align their mindset, skills, and inner structure in order to build sustainable businesses and lead with clarity and purpose. Through her programs, conferences, and the National Women in Business Congress, she has supported the transformation of hundreds of women across diverse professional fields. Her approach integrates strategy, self-awareness, and emotional development, positioning her as a voice that emphasizes the real and lasting impact of female leadership in society.

• Osiris Angulo

  Professional appraiser

  She is a Civil Engineer from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa and holds a Master’s and PhD in Valuation with Honors from the Autonomous University of Baja California. She is a professor at UABC’s Faculty of Economics and International Relations, teaching in the graduate program in Valuation. She served as President of the College of Appraisers of Baja California (2023–2024) and represents the Northwest region at FECOVAL. She also leads the 2026–2027 edition of Valuador Profesional. She is co-author of Environmental University: Case Studies and Reflections, presented at VALUAFIL during the Guadalajara International Book Fair. Her work includes academic publications and presentations at national and international conferences, where she has been recognized for her research on public asset valuation.

• Ximena López

  Entrepreneur • Cultural Promoter • Craft Beer Leader

  Ximena López is an entrepreneur, cultural promoter, and a leading voice in the evolution of craft beer in Baja California. Raised in Tijuana, she grew up in a family where beer was more than an industry—it was a way to build community and identity. In 2013, she co-founded Azteca Craft Brewing, and after her father’s passing, she continued his legacy by co-founding Mexica Cervecería Artesanal with her sister, now the only women-led craft brewery in Tijuana. Through her work, Ximena has transformed craft beer into a cultural experience rooted in creativity and border identity. She became the first woman to serve as president of the Tijuana Craft Brewers Association and has contributed to strengthening the industry regionally. Her vision goes beyond business: she creates spaces that foster community, culture, and belonging. Ximena represents a new generation of women redefining leadership through resilience, authenticity, and purpose.
