  Sea turtle conservation advocates

  Sylvia is an activist who manifests love and faith through direct action. Journeying from the metropolis of Taipei to the shores of El Nido in the Philippines, she carved out her own path with a brave and limitless heart. Faced with an unfamiliar environment and a lack of resources, she embraced the philosophy of "act first"—starting with her first self-organized spay and neuter initiative. This eventually grew into the region's largest sea turtle conservation sanctuary. Her efforts have given a second lease on life to hundreds of animals and inspired countless people to rediscover the transformative power of love.

  Boat builder

  溫志榮 (Teacher Da Mu): Reconnecting with life through the craft of canoe building. By leading students to build canoes from scratch, Wen transforms a simple handcrafting project from DIY into a powerful DIT (Do It Together) collaborative experience. Through the tactile journey of woodworking, students cultivate resilience and teamwork. For Wen, boat building is more than a skill—it is a spiritual conversation with nature. He views each voyage on the water as an opportunity for individuals to forge a deeper bond with their own existence.

  craftsman

  Wang Siyuan contemplates life through handcrafts and writes his soul into his artistry. A student of Sinophone Literature at National Dong Hwa University, he possesses a deep passion for craft, literature, and the wilderness. Recently, he has immersed himself in the arts of leatherworking and metalsmithing, founding the brand "Lovely Animals Studio" to transform years of learning into tangible forms. "Articulating the self is, in essence, the output of one’s self-imagination," he says. Between these imaginations, he is learning to find his authentic self. Through handcrafting, he seeks his identity; through creation, he learns to listen.

  Local revitalization practitioners

  蔡文培, A youth leader writing his ideals through action. In 2021, Tsai established "Wave Jinshan"（浪金山） and the "Taiwan Youth Association for Sustainable Development"（臺灣青年永續發展協會）to create a collaborative ecosystem for young people. Deeply rooted in the North Coast, he transitioned from reporting on the region to actively shaping its future. With his "just do it" philosophy, he has built a robust support network for youth to survive and thrive. His leadership was most evident when he mobilized his team for relief work after a historic flood, successfully restoring community bonds. By operating communal hubs and arts festivals, Tsai continues to turn local heritage into a vibrant platform for youth-led sustainability.

  History educators

  Li Wen-cheng is a history educator and the creator of the YouTube channel "History Formula"《故事方成式》and the "1-History-Relieves-100-Sorrows" 《一歷百憂解》podcast. His work explores the intersection of history and literature. He is the author of Addicted to Taiwan History and Unlocking Chinese History.（《上癮臺灣史》、《解鎖中國史》）In addition to his creative pursuits, he serves as the Chief Travel Officer at Raisa International Travel Agency and the Creative Director of Story Co., Ltd.

  Indigenous music creators

  馬樂 Madal Arik (陳祈宏), a coastal Amis musician from Taitung, is currently a Ph.D. student in Musicology at NTU. By blending traditional language with his signature "neo-ancient" style, he transforms music into a powerful medium for cultural preservation, making the ancestral songs of the Amis people accessible and relevant to today’s youth.
