Currently, he is serving as the Academic Affairs Director at a private school in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. Throughout his career, Brian has demonstrated a unique versatility in the classroom, having successfully mentored a diverse range of learners, from gifted and talented youth to students with special educational needs.   Leslie is a seasoned entrepreneur and global leader with 10 years of experience in global education, professional development, and social entrepreneurship. Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and conversational in Korean, Leslie is the founder of Pursuit International and specializes in providing storytelling and pitch training to early-stage startup founders to help them secure investment and funding. Leslie has personally won over 2.3 million RMB in funding for her own initiatives through a variety of grants, fellowships, scholarships, foundations, startup competitions, and impact investment. She is also the winner of the inaugural WeWork Creator’s Award in 2018 and secured $72,000 USD investment. Leslie has also shared her storytelling expertise with prominent corporate clients, including Bank of China, PwC, Chow Tai Fook, the German Chamber of Commerce, CIEE, and prestigious universities like Harvard and Yale.

• Silent River 无声河乐队

  Indie-pop Band

  Silent River is an independent pop band formed at the end of 2024. The band's main composer and keyboardist, Ayan (阿盐), graduated from music institutions in China, the US, and Germany, where he studied both classical and contemporary music. Lead vocalist Hede Yuan (袁和德) is experienced in backing vocals and has collaborated with numerous top-tier singers in global touring performances. Lear (莉尔), the lead vocalist currently studying in Japan, has over 300,000 followers across various Chinese video platforms. Guitarist Lin Li (李霖), bassist Zhengxiong Li (李政雄), and drummer Peichen Xu (徐沛晨) are all outstanding young musicians from the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. Silent River excels at portraying the joys, sorrows, and everyday emotions of modern life. They integrate various ethnic and world music elements into a wide range of modern music genres, offering a sonic river that allows listeners living in steel-and-concrete jungles to trace their way back to the cradle of civilization.
