  • Alison De La Cruz

    Executive & Artistic Director + Gathering Practitioner & Multidisciplinary Artist

    Alison De La Cruz (she/they/siya/DeLa) is a senior artivist leader, facilitator, cultural organizer, multi-disciplinary theatre artist, educator, and contemporary ritualist. They have collaborated with local artists and produced community events of all sizes, developing Los Angeles’ world class cultural ecosystem for over 25 years. DeLa is the Executive & Artistic Director Great Leap, Inc.

  • Anderson Han

    Social Scientist

    Anderson Han is a junior who has been seeing a concerning rise in extremism among young men due to self-improvement content on social media. After a few encounters with it himself, and observing a friend going through the same situation, he feels compelled to share the dangers associated with self-improvement online, and the steps you can take to combat it.

  • Daniel Garzon

    University Professor

    Daniel Garzon is an Assistant Professor of Biliteracy and Bilingual Education at California State University, Los Angeles. While he was growing up, he never thought he would teach (in) Spanish, let alone at the university level. He shares his story about the struggle of growing up bilingual in the US and his advocacy for bilingual education.

  • Lauren Park

    Creative Writer

    Lauren Park is a junior at North Hollywood High School who finds inspiration in the small, often-overlooked moments of everyday life. Drawn to the idea of venturing “down the rabbit hole,” she explores how moments of uncertainty can lead to unexpected meaning, wonder, and connection. Through her TEDx talk, she hopes to remind others that even in uncertainty, we can all create our own kind of magic.

  • Michelle Cholfin

    Public Speaker

    Michelle Cholfin is a freshman at North Hollywood Highly Gifted Magnet. She enjoys pursuing her passions in both the worlds of the sciences and the humanities, supplemented by her deep dive into unique interests. Michelle is eager to discuss the biological need to belong and how people have pursued this desire in the past.

  • Oscar Park

    Golfer + Community Advocate

    Oscar Park is a junior at North Hollywood High School who loves golf, L.A. weather, and Studio Ghibli. At school, he’s noticed how easy it is for students, including himself, to fall into the rabbit hole of perfectionism. He’s excited to share his reflections and encourage his peers to enjoy the game of life at the TEDxNHHS Youth event.

  • Raashi Khamkar

    Public Speaker

    Raashi Khamkar, a 9th grader at North Hollywood High School, has a strong passion for performing, whether it be public speaking or singing songs on stage. She looks forward to immersing the audience in her TEDx Talk about the rhythm of life.

  • Tiffany Hogan

    Medical Oncologist

    Dr. Tiffany Hogan is a Los Angles based hematologist-oncologist where she specializes in breast cancer care. Her research interests lie in cancer care disparities and closing the gap in cancer outcomes across different communities ensuring that every patient – no matter their background receives the care they deserve. She is a proud mom, traveler, pickleball enthusiast and lifelong learner that hopes to inspire others to use their gifts to make a difference in the world.
