  • Awwal Dahiru

    Senior Tech Mgr. CHAMPS

    Awwal Dahiru is a technologist and advocate from northeastern Nigeria. His passion began with his first encounter with computers in primary school, which led him to study computer science. He is a co-founder of Horizon IT Services and Horizon Lab, non-profit digital hubs dedicated to building local tech capacity, mentoring enthusiasts, and applying programming and data analytics to community issues. At present, Awwal is Senior Technical Manager for CHAMPS (Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance Project) in Bauchi. In this role, Awwal leads a team that develops and implements vital information systems to generate data-driven insights aimed at reducing child mortality. His work sits at the intersection of technology, data science, and public health, fuelled by the belief that strategic innovation can rewrite Africa's story.

    Dr. Benaxir omar is an accomplished Nigerian entrepreneur, author, and leader from Bauchi State, born June 12, 1995. I hold an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Business Development from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, and a B.Tech in Microbiology, pursuing a PhD in Public Administration at Bayero University Kano. As CEO of Saje Investments, i excel in financial management, project management, and human resources, with over 10 years of experience. A prolific writer, i have authored over 10 books and scripted a hit movie. Fluent in Hausa, Arabic, and English, i am a certified fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership. Recognized for excellence, i've received honors including an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from American Management University, USA, for my contributions to business and peace building. I am Passionate about writing, reading, and travelling, i embody resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Dr. Saleh Bagudu Rimi

    Lecturer

    Dr. Saleh Bagudu Rimi is an accomplished academic and educator born on October 10, 1976, in Rimi Zayam, Jama'a District of Toro LGA, Bauchi State. He holds qualifications spanning primary to doctoral education, including a National Diploma from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Polytechnic, a Bachelor's degree from the University of Jos, a Master's degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and a Ph.D. from the University of Ilorin. Dr. Rimi is currently a faculty member at Sa'adu Zungur University (Bauchi State University, Bauchi. His professional interests center on teaching, public speaking, and community development. Beyond academia, he is passionate about reading, traveling, philanthropy, and mentoring people.

  • Engr. Joshua Titus Sanga

    D.G Bauchi State Procurement Bureau

    Engr. Joshua Titus Sanga is a highly experienced civil engineer with decades of professional practice in water resources, infrastructure development, and engineering management. A COREN-registered engineer and Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, he has played a pivotal role in the design, construction, and supervision of major water supply and housing projects across Nigeria. He served for over 15 years with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, contributing significantly to national development through effective project delivery from conception to commissioning, before transitioning into private practice. He currently serves as the Director-General of the Public Procurement Bureau, Bauchi State, where he champions transparency, efficiency, and best practices in public procurement. Engr. Sanga is also the National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Water Engineers, reflecting his leadership within the professional engineering community.

  • Ruqayya Umar Giade

    Poet and Tech Enthusiast

    Rukayya Umar Giade was Born on 23rd October 2015, she hails from Giade Local Government Area of Bauchi State and comes from an erudite family of scholars with a policer officer father and a librarian mother. The second of three siblings, she was raised in a home that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and strong values. She fell in love with poetry early and has read more than 10 children's story-books, inspiring her journey as a young poet and tech enthusiast. A natural problem-solver, she serves as a Math Ambassador in her school. Her public-speaking journey began at just 6 years old, and she continues to shine on stage with confidence. In her leisure time, she enjoys painting, expressing her imagination through art. At age 8, she developed a passion for farming, mentored by her big brother and her mum, a love that strengthened her connection to nature and re-sponsibility. She is a vibrant, talented, and multifaceted young girl with a bright future ahead.

  • Sumayya Abubakar

    Founder Muryar Fulani Peace Initiative Network

    Sumayya Abubakar is a peacebuilder, educator, and advocate for social cohesion who has dedicated her life to creating hope in conflict-affected communities, often against all odds. She is the Founder of the Muryar Fulani Peace Initiative Network, which has provided education to over a thousand children from low-income families in Plateau State through five 5 community schools, even as one 1 was forced to close due to conflict. As Team Lead of the Mediation and Dialogue Unit at the Plateau Peace Building Agency, She has led dialogues among divided groups and organized more than 20 Community Peace Architecture Forums across the state. She also coordinated I-RENEW (Inclusive Religious Engagement Ehanced by Women), a project that promoted peaceful coexistence while amplifying the voices of women and youth. Her contributions extend to initiatives supported by the European Union, the British High Commission, and GIZ, where she has advanced grassroots peace building and inclusive engagement.
