• Bernice Omiunu

  Web 3 Leader + Founder

  Bernice Omiunu is an emerging tech ecosystem leader advocating for diversity in technology and passionate about startups and innovation in Africa. She is the Founder of Women in Blockchain Africa (WiBA), a non-profit advancing women’s participation and leadership in blockchain across all five African regions. She is also Co-founder of Fiatsend. Bernice has contributed to programmes supporting emerging tech enthusiasts, startups and businesses with funding, mentorship and growth opportunities. She also contributes to Nigeria’s largest tech accelerator initiative and has participated in prestigious programmes including the YALI Regional Leadership Center, Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), World Bank Youth Summit and U.S. Exchange. Through her leadership and collaborations, her initiatives have impacted thousands of women, young people and startups across Africa, advancing inclusive, technology-driven growth and creating pathways for greater participation in the digital economy.

• Glory Oguegbu

  Clean Tech Entrepreneur

  Glory is a Nigerian clean energy entrepreneur, climate advocate, Obama Foundation Scholar, and author. She founded the Renewable Energy Technology Training Institute (RETTI) in 2019, which has trained over 4,200 solar technicians across 12 African countries, supported 200+ businesses, and contributed to over 15MW of solar capacity. She also founded the Africa Fellowship for Young Energy Leaders and RETTI Virtual University, expanding access to clean energy education across Africa. Through Glow Initiative for Economic Empowerment, she has connected over 4,352 households to clean electricity and educated more than 18,500 students on climate action. In 2025, she designed the Solar Innovators Research Fellowship, supported by the ECOWAS Commission, to strengthen Africa’s capacity for solar cell manufacturing. A 2023 Obama Foundation Scholar at Columbia University, she was selected as one of 12 global leaders from over 15,000 applicants and was named by The Economist among the Top 5 Women

• Isimeme Whyte

  Managing Director + Immigration Expert

  Isimeme Whyte is a tech enthusiast, social entrepreneur, migration and e-commerce expert, business development strategist, AI educator, TEDx speaker and award-winning filmmaker with over 25 yrs of experience across TVET, EdTech, entrepreneurship, government/NGO partnerships and digital transformation. She has supported over 11,531 startups, empowered 12,205 young people with digital skills, and trained 2,689 young creatives in filmmaking. She is Founder and Group Managing Director of Genius Hub Group, Founder of Young Girls Foundation, and holds leadership roles in women’s entrepreneurship, international trade and civil society. She is GOPA-certified Master Trainer and ILO-trained cooperative development facilitator. She has led youth empowerment and migration initiatives, including HerMigrationVoice, reaching over 3 million people. She previously served as Executive Secretary to Esan-West Local Government and Senior Special Assistant to the Edo State Government on World Bank Matters.

• Jane Uwagboe

  Founder

  Jane is a Nigerian entrepreneur and founder with a background spanning public relations, productivity, artificial intelligence, and 3D design. She began her career in PR before pivoting to entrepreneurship, building and exploring ventures across multiple emerging technology sectors. Her experience across diverse industries gave her a unique lens on how African businesses operate — and where the gaps in infrastructure, fulfilment, and distribution are costing them the most. That insight led her to found Locoomo, a cloud warehousing and distributed fulfilment platform building the physical infrastructure layer that African commerce needs to scale

• Karen Tres Omokaro

  Author + Education Advocate

  Karen is a globally minded 16-year-old student passionate about learning, leadership and making a positive impact. She recently sat for JAMB and is currently completing her WAEC examinations. Her love for learning and desire to stay informed have shaped her journey. At 13, she completed the New Testament and received an award for the achievement. At 15, she authored her first book, Read & Glow, and four months later, completed the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Karen has had the privilege of speaking at events where she inspires and challenges young people to pursue growth and excellence. She currently serves as her school’s Head Girl, a position she earned through a competitive process involving campaigns, debates and impromptu speeches. Grateful for a childhood shaped by good parenting and meaningful experiences, Karen is embracing her teenage years with purpose. She sees herself as a voice the world needs to hear and is committed to using that voice to inspire others.

• Tolulope Makinwa

  Rural Enterprise Developemt Advocate + Founder

  Tolulope is the Founder of Muazu Africa, a rural enterprise intelligence and impact platform focused on strengthening market resilience, value retention, and economic inclusion across underserved communities in Nigeria. Her work sits at the intersection of rural development, impact measurement, gender equity, climate resilience, enterprise development, and policy innovation. She has extensive experience working with rural markets and informal economies, exploring how structural power, climate shocks, access to finance, education, and infrastructure shape the realities of women-led enterprises across Africa. Through Muazu Africa, she leads initiatives that track rural economic patterns, support enterprise growth, and generate data-driven insights for investors, policymakers, and development institutions. Tolulope is passionate about building inclusive economic systems that enable rural communities, particularly women, to retain, grow, and sustain value across generations.
