• 人人人鼓剧场 Orang Orang Drum Theatre

  成立于 2013 年的人人人鼓剧场，由周顺兴、廖世仪与廖慧鸣三位核心成员带领，十年来在音乐、舞蹈与剧场之间游走。从威尼斯剧场艺术节到匈牙利，再到澳洲的 WOMADelaide 与砂拉越 Rainforest World Music Festival，他们以鼓声与世界文化交流，在传统与当代之间不断试探新的可能。 “人人人” 化为 “众”，象征艺术应回到人群之中。他们走入马来西亚社区——渔村、校园、艺术节，带来表演与工作坊，也从地方文化汲取灵感。 Founded in 2013 by core members Boyz Chew, Zyee Leow, and Damien Leow, Orang Orang Drum Theatre has spent the past decade moving fluidly between music, dance, and theatre. From the Venice Open Stage festival to folk art festivals in Hungary and Serbia, and from Australia’s WOMADelaide to Sarawak’s Rainforest World Music Festival, they have drummed across cultures, constantly exploring new horizons between tradition and the contemporary. The name “Orang Orang” means “the people”, which carries the idea of individuals coming together to form a community, echoing the belief that art belongs among the people. True to this spirit, they bring performances and workshops into Malaysian spaces while drawing inspiration from local cultures in return.

• 刘俊腾 Jeff Lau

  他曾完成九场极地超马，足迹遍及撒哈拉的炙热沙海、北极圈的极夜雪原与亚马逊的原始密林，更于 2019 年成为了首位完成瑞士铁人三项 Swiss Ultra Deca Triathlon 的马来西亚人。 然而，对他而言，奔跑并非单纯的竞技壮举，而是一种以行动承载善意的方式。他每一次的奔跑都背负着 “为马来西亚爱滋病儿童基金筹款” 的使命，将健康与坚韧化作力量的象征。面对零下五十度的严寒、高达五百公里的极限路程，以及重达三十公斤的装备，他始终凭借一句 “再跑一下” 支撑自己前行。 He’s completed nine ultra marathons across the burning sands of the Sahara, the polar nights of the Arctic Circle, and the untouched jungles of the Amazon, and in 2019 he was the only Malaysian to complete the prestigious Swiss Ultra Deca Triathlon. For Jeff Lau, however, running isn’t just a competitive activity but also a way to spread goodwill through his actions. His mission on each marathon is to fundraise for the Malaysian AIDS Foundation's Pediatric AIDS Fund, turning health and tenacity into symbols of strength. In the face of subzero temperatures of –50°C, distances of up to 500 km, and with 30 kg of equipment on his back, it’s thanks to the mindset of “just run a little longer” that keeps him moving forward.

• 叶友弟 Yudi Yap

  友弟毕业于马来西亚艺术学院纯美术系，拥有超过 30 年本土音乐与创作经验。从 80 年代末参与 “激盪工作坊” 到 90 年代加入“另类音乐人” 团体，并获得海螺新韵奖，她以独立音乐为据点，书写自己的声音风景。她也参与了千禧年至今经典演唱与音乐会制作，近年则投入心灵类音乐演出。 A graduate of the Malaysian Institute of Art in Fine Arts, Yudi Yap has over 30 years of experience in local music and songwriting. From participating in MuziKita in the late 1980s to becoming part of the Alternative Music House in the 1990s—receiving recognition at the prestigious Halo Songwriting Competition—she has long rooted herself in independent music, shaping a soundscape that tells her own evolving story. She has since taken part in countless iconic performances and productions, and in recent years, has devoted herself to music that touches the spirit.

• 周心花 Connie Chew

  周心花被誉为马来西亚的 “发酵女王”。她自 2015 年起与发酵食物结缘后，游历泰国、日本、韩国等地，汲取传统技艺，并融合个人美学，酿造出独具风格的发酵作品。怀着满腔热情，她致力复兴亚洲的古老发酵智慧，并让它在当代焕发华彩。 这双巧手将时间缓缓融入一罐罐发酵物，使风味在时光深处渐次丰盈。于她而言，发酵不仅滋养味蕾，更是连接身体与心灵、传承文化与创新未来的桥梁。她的餐桌，是讲究味觉、色彩、摆盘与健康相互交织的，令人垂涎的艺术盛宴。 onnie Chew has been described as Malaysia's "Queen of Ferments". From 2015 onward her fascination has taken her to Thailand, Japan, Korea, and further afield to learn traditional fermenting techniques, which she has incorporated with her own tastes to create distinctive new dishes. She remains enthusiastic about reviving the age-old Asian art of fermentation and bringing it to life in today's world. In her capable hands, the flavours in each jar of fermented food get richer and better with time. And in her view, fermentation isn't just satisfying for the palate. It bridges body and soul; tradition and innovation. On her table, taste, colour, presentation, and wellness come together to form a mouthwatering feast of the arts.

• 张丽珠 Chong Lee Choo

  槟城《城视报》主编张丽珠，带领读者用眼睛去看城市，勾勒出人们对城市的情感，引起读者的共鸣。她以兼具文学气息与新闻精准的笔触，细致记录城市与人物的真实纹理。曾获 “花踪文学奖” 报告文学奖、“黄纪达新闻奖” 报导文学奖及卫生部年度中文最佳报导奖。她曾接受海内外媒体，如台湾《VERSE》、《当今大马》、中国话仙桃 PODCAST 等的采访。2023 年，张丽珠创立 “岛读书店”，持续推动在地阅读、文化交流与社区连结，让文字与城市共呼吸。 Chong Lee Choo wears many hats: editor-in-chief of Penang City Eye. Her work leads readers to look at their cities anew, tracing out how they feel about their cities – striking a chord within them. She meticulously records the true face of cities and their people with literary flair and journalistic precision. This has won her numerous awards. She’s been interviewed for her work both at home and abroad, including by Taiwan's VERSE, Malaysiakini, and China’s “HuaXianTalk” podcast. In 2023, Lee Choo founded Book Island, a bookstore which enables her to continue promoting local readership, cultural exchange, and connections within the community, allowing words and the city to breathe together.

• 张和顺 DJ Point

  从夜店的 DJ 台，到马来西亚嘻哈乐团 “慢行 ManHanD” 的舞台，DJ Point 的名字一直和节奏紧密相连。许多人认识他，是因为那股在舞台上点燃全场的能量；但在灯光之外，他更像是一名不断追寻自我声音的旅人。 他经历过创作的低潮，也见证过嘻哈文化在本地逐渐被理解与接纳的过程。他将舞台经验带入校园，成为马来西亚第一个将 DJ 文化引入大学课堂的开拓者。对他而言，音乐不只是旋律与节拍，更是一种能够被传承的思维方式。 From the DJ booth in nightclubs to the stage with Malaysia’s hip-hop group “ManHanD”, DJ Point has always been connected to rhythm. Many know him for his energy that lights up crowds under the spotlight, but offstage, he is more like a traveller, constantly searching for his own sound. He has gone through creative lows and has also witnessed hip-hop culture slowly gaining recognition and acceptance in Malaysia. Carrying his stage experience, he became the pioneer of integrating DJ culture into Malaysian university education. To him, music goes beyond melodies and beats , it is a mindset that can be inherited.

• 本山エリ子 Eriko Motoyama

  Eriko Motoyama is the co-founder and director of SlopeWatch, a community-based monitoring program that teaches residents how to be prepared for landslides. With a background in technical communication and an enthusiasm for protecting others (for which the Sultan of Selangor recognised her services to the state in 2011), Eriko walks us through eyewitness accounts and expert knowledge to show us how landslides happen – and what signs we can look out for in our neighbourhoods. Programs like SlopeWatch are a decision by ordinary Malaysians to learn how to live with risk. The human toll of natural disasters can be mitigated when people are prepared for them, and learning about risk reduction is the first step to staying in control. 她是 SlopeWatch 的联合创办人兼负责人，这是个以社区为基础的监测计划，让居民学习如何辨识山体滑坡的迹象，并在危机来临前做好准备。 Eriko 原本是一名技术传播领域的专业人士，却本着对守护他人的热忱走上了防灾之路。她将目击者的亲身经历与专家的专业知识相融合，让更多人理解山体滑坡的全过程，同时警惕大家留意社区中那些预警迹象。 2011 年，她的贡献获得雪兰莪苏丹的肯定，而她的努力，也在一次次社区动员中转化为实实在在的守护力。她坚信，主动学习与风险共存，才是降低天灾伤亡人员的关键。

• 林奕仰 Kenny Lim

  逾 25 年来，林奕仰在酒店、快消、奢侈品零售与数码服务等多个领域穿梭驰骋，走过亚洲各大商业舞台。尤其是在中国深耕的十年，更塑造了他独特的商业视角。 在中国，他见证了商业逻辑的转变，从关系网络到品牌打造，从消费升级到政策博弈，每一步都折射出未来经济的轮廓。如今，他将这段经历凝练成 China Decoded™，一个专注于解码中国商业结构与战略的体系。通过演讲、工作坊与顾问服务，他引导企业理解中国如何影响世界格局，以及如何从中找到合作与竞争的新路径。 For over 25 years, Kenny has spanned diverse industries and gaining extensive experience across Asia’s business stages. His decade on the ground in China especially shaped his distinct perspective on business and strategy. In China, he witnessed profound shifts in business logic: from relationship-driven networks to brand building, from consumption upgrades to policy dynamics. Each shift revealed glimpses of the future economy. These insights crystallised into China Decoded™, a programme dedicated to unpacking China’s business structures and strategies. Kenny helps organisations grasp how China is reshaping the global landscape, and how to navigate towards emerging opportunities for cooperation and competition.

• 林泽昇 Lim Tze Tshen

  林泽昇，古脊椎动物学与动物考古学研究专家，生于森美兰州芙蓉。自南开大学生物学系毕业后，投入自然资源与野生动物保育工作，并长期深入洞穴开展科学考察。 2018 年获剑桥大学动物考古学硕士学位，先后任职于砂拉越博物馆与马来亚大学地质系，专研半岛石灰岩洞穴古生物，指导研究生野外与实验研究。他以严谨的学术方法，探索古生命与人类历史的交织，并致力于推动自然科学的普及与文化遗产的保存。 Lim Tze Tshen, an expert in palaeontology and zooarchaeology, was born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. After graduating with a degree in biology from Nankai University, he dedicated himself to the conservation of wildlife and natural resources, travelling deep into caves for long-term scientific expeditions. In 2018 he earned a master's degree in zooarcheology from Cambridge University. Subsequently, he worked for the Sarawak Museum and the geology department at Universiti Malaya, specialising in the paleobiology of limestone caves in the Malay Peninsula, where he has supervised graduate students in both lab research and fieldwork. His academic rigour, exploring the interweaving of ancient life and human history, is dedicated to popularising the natural sciences and preserving cultural heritage.

• 翁书强 Lawrence Ong

  来自马来西亚吉兰丹州的椰林海岸，翁书强成长于资源有限的环境，却因天生的好奇与渴望踏上探索世界的旅途。他的足迹横跨新闻传媒、演戏与身心灵哲学，在学习、工作与旅行之间自在切换，将多元体验汇聚为独特的生命拼图。 他主张热爱应如水般流动，不必被 “坚持” 所桎梏。对他而言，转向不是放弃，而是通往新体验的契机。以开放的心态与不竭的好奇，他在流动中汲取能量与灵感，不断塑造属于自己的生命图景。 Lawrence Ong grew up on the coconut-lined coast of Kelantan, Malaysia. From a childhood shaped by limited resources but endless curiosity, he set out on a journey that continues to take him across different worlds. His path has led him through journalism, acting, and mind-body-spirit philosophy. Moving fluidly between learning, work, and travel, he weaves these experiences into a life that is both diverse and deeply his own. He believes passion should flow like water—adaptable, unconfined, and free from the rigid expectation of relentless perseverance. To him, changing direction is not surrender but an opening, a chance to step into new possibilities. With openness and curiosity as his compass, he draws energy and inspiration from every shift, continually reshaping the story of his life.

• 赵汗青 Zhao Han Qing

  从互联网热潮到 AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) 浪潮，赵汗青始终行走在艺术与科技的交界线上。如今，他担任 AI.Talk 的创始人，投身 AI 叙事实验场，开辟属于自己的创作疆土。 在他的世界里，AI 并非冰冷的程序，而是能与人共舞的创作伙伴。真正决定 AI 叙事独特性的，不是算法的复杂度，而是创作者的思想深度。他巧妙设定边界，让 AI 在音乐、故事与影像的完整流程中自由生成，致力于塑造独一无二的 AI 人格化 IP。 From the early days of the Internet boom to the rise of AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content), Zhao Han Qing has been at the intersection of art and digital development. Now the founder of AI.Talk is carving out his own creative territory by using AI to experiment with narrative. In his world, AI is a creative partner rather than a mindless machine. The real marker of its storytelling prowess lies not in the complexity of its programming, but in the depth of its creator’s thinking. He sets careful parameters throughout the process, directing AI through the entire process of generating music, storylines, and imagery, with the goal of creating a unique IP personified by an AI.

• 雪乐 Desmond Wong

  乐毕业于佛光山丛林学院，自 2005 年起随咏给 · 明就仁波切修行，并在尼泊尔佛学院学习教法与辩经，多次随师闭关，体悟心性的澄明与空性的辽阔。作为颂钵音疗的先行者，他承袭了尼泊尔萨满家族斯理先生的颂钵传承，并融汇了噶玛噶举派德噶寺的修行法脉。 他开设的颂钵音疗课程是首个获得马来西亚科技大学（UTM）认证的专业课程。他不仅在课堂上示范颂钵的操作技巧，更将禅修与观照心的训练融入其中，引导学员重新认识自己的心性。 Desmond Wong graduated from Fo Guang Shan Tsung Lin University and has studied under Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche since 2005. He furthered his training at Buddhist colleges in Nepal, engaging in philosophy, dialectics, and extended retreats that deepened his realisation of the mind’s clarity and the vastness of emptiness. As a pioneer carrying an authentic singing bowl therapy, he inherited the tradition from Master Shree Krishna Shahi. He established Malaysia’s first singing bowl therapy course, officially certified by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). In his teaching, Desmond blends technique with meditation and mindfulness, guiding learners to rediscover the nature of their own mind.

• 马子颂 Ma Zi Song

  马子颂以显微镜为画笔，将科学与艺术相融，探索种子世界的微观之美。他曾在国际期刊 Cell Research、Science Bulletin、Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS) 发表研究成果，并多次获得影像类奖项。 在他的镜头下，少数种子光彩夺目，而更多种子平凡质朴——如同人生的缩影。以小见大，他在微观世界中发现诗意，并致力于将这份美感传递给更广阔的世界。 With the microscope as his brush, Ma Zi Song reveals the hidden beauty of seeds, where science and art meet. His work has been featured in Cell Research, Science Bulletin, and JACS, and has received multiple awards in scientific imaging. Through his lens, some seeds appear dazzling and brilliant, while many others remain simple and unadorned, much like a microcosm of life itself. Finding poetry in the microscopic world, he strives to share this beauty with a broader audience.

• 黄莲心 Jillian Ooi

  海草，这些常被忽视却支撑海洋生态系统的重要水下植物，同时也是全球沿海社区赖以为生的资源，而 Jillian 就是马来西亚少数研究海草的专家之一，她长期与柔佛河、蒲莱河一带展开社区合作，着重研究海草的分布与价值。 在马来亚大学任教时，她通过马来传统音乐甘美兰引导学生养成批判性思维；而作为 Rhythm in Bronze 乐团的艺术与音乐总监，她也借由传统乐声模拟大海的律动，将海洋保护的紧迫感化为可被听见的呼唤，激发人们对于海洋保育的共鸣与行动。 Jillian Ooi is passionate about seagrass. As both a 2015 Komai Fellow and the 2022 Pew Fellow in Marine Conservation, she has also worked to protect their vanishing habitats in areas like Pulau Lima, Tioman, and the Mersing Islands, while exploring ways to restore seagrass from the roots up. Jillian’s passion extends to teaching those who learn about them. Though she nurtures students’ critical thinking in her day job at Universiti Malaya, her secret weapon is the gamelan. As music director of the Rhythm in Bronze orchestra, she uses traditional gamelan music to convey the urgency of ocean conservation, invoking the sound of the sea and stimulating the public to action through their ears as well as their minds.

• 黄锦荣 Wong Chin Yoong

  作为马来西亚拉曼大学经济学教授，黄锦荣曾任马来西亚 KSI 亚太战略研究院与斯德哥尔摩中国经济研究院访问学者，并担任《哈佛商业评论》学术咨询委员会成员。活跃于学术、媒体与企业之间，他以专栏、著作与财经节目，将深度的经济思考传递给公众，并为多家企业与公共机构提供战略咨询。 在他的视野中，经济与历史密不可分，也折射着社会结构与多元文化的现实。无论面对外部冲击或内部挑战，他始终强调，唯有理解背景、认清优势，方能在变局中找到稳健前行的路径。 Professor Wong Chin Yoong has been a visiting scholar at the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific in Malaysia and the Stockholm China Economic Research Institute, and is a member of the Academic Advisory Board of Harvard Business Review. Engaged across academia, media, and business, he brings economic insights to the public through columns, books, and financial programmes, while also advising corporations and public institutions on strategy. He views economics as inseparable from history, a mirror of social structures and cultural diversity. In the face of both external shocks and internal challenges, he emphasises that only by understanding context and recognizing strengths can one find a steady path forward.

• 黎紫书 Li Zi Shu

  从记者到作家，她以温柔却锐利的笔触，记录大马街巷、人群与沉默。早年的新闻经历，让她近距离触摸不同阶层的悲欢冷暖，也使她笔下的人物个个鲜活。 成长于女性氛围浓厚的家庭，她深知女性的困境与坚韧，因此作品以女性为轴心，透视社会的隐性暴力与沉默挣扎。《告别的年代》以实验性的叙事回应历史创伤，而《流俗地》则以温情与写实，书写一代人日常中不被看见的幽暗与光亮。 From journalist to novelist, Li Zi Shu has always written with a pen both tender and incisive, capturing the streets, people and silences of Malaysia. Her early years in journalism allowed her to witness the joys and struggles of different social classes up close, giving her characters a vividness that feels as if they live right beside us. Growing up in a family shaped by strong female voices, she understands both the struggles and resilience of women. Many of her works place women at the centre, revealing the hidden violence and unspoken struggles within society. Gaobie de Niandai (The Age of Farewell) experiments with narrative to confront historical trauma, while Liu Su Di (Flowing Through the Fallow Land) blends warmth and realism to portray the unseen shadows and lights of everyday life.

• 黑米 Hymn Wong

  黑米，毕业于鹿特丹美术学院，设计生涯获奖颇丰，曾斩获广告戛纳国际创意 Cannes Lions 金奖。现任 “两面思维” 的创办者，亦是哲学的实践者，致力创造更多 “人生设计的工具包”（Tools for Life Design）。 多年来，他不断探索人生的意义，也笃信唯有跳出固有思维框架，才能看见更广阔的可能。从设计跨向哲学，再将二者交织融合，他用自己的方式为世界留下思考的引线。画笔一挥，极简的黑白线条就化为“观系游戏”、“想想签” 等充满 “翻转” 巧思的小物件。在反转与对照之间，重新思考人生、自我与关系的契机悄然发芽。 A graduate of the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam, Hymn Wong has won numerous awards throughout his design career, including Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity – Gold Lion. Now, as founder of Both Sides Thinking, he also dabbles in philosophy and is committed to creating more "Tools for Life Design". Through his years of searching for the meaning of life, he firmly believes that the only way to achieve greater potential is for us to break out of our existing ways of thinking. In the midst of this inversion and contrast are chances for us to reevaluate life, relationships, and ourselves.
