From melting glaciers to fading cultures, what once felt stable is now at risk. “The Fragility of Now” explores how today’s decisions impact not only the future but the delicate systems we rely on right now, our environment, our identities, and our communities.

  • Anisa Abibulloeva

    Project Coordinator, Little Earth Tajikistan

    Anisa Abibulloeva, project coordinator at youth environmental organization “Little Earth”, environmentalist with 8 years of experience in environmental advocacy. Anisa is also a board member of Climate Action Network EECCA. At COP28, Anisa was one of 100 youth delegates in the first International Youth Climate Delegates Program. Last year, she received a prestigious Gender Just Climate Solutions Award in technical category. She is also a laureate of the Central Asian Tereshkevich Youth Environmental Award 2022. She is working with the rural marginalized communities to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change through green technologies. Anisa also specializes in climate advocacy and focuses on engaging youth and women in the formation of a stronger environmental movement. She has previously worked with FAO in Tajikistan, International Fund on Saving the Aral Sea, GIZ and consulted UNDP and OSCE on youth participation in climate action.

  • Gulanor Atobek

    CEO of Alif Bank

    Gulanor has joined the Alif team more than 4 years ago. Gulanor has an around 18 years of experience in auditing companies working in different sectors in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, out of which 13 years was leading Deloitte office in Tajikistan. Gulanor was member of the Board of Directors of AmCham Tajikistan for 12 years, serving as a Chairman of the Board of Directors for four years. She holds several professional qualifications, including US CPA, FCCA and CIPA and MBA from the American University in Central Asia.

  • Ozodamo Faromuz

    Tech enthusiast, Former Ilmhona CEO

    Ozodamo Faromuz has been part of the Ilmhona team for over 3 years, with last 1,5 Leading the organization as CEO. She brings more than 8 years of experience in talent development, startup acceleration, and program management across Central Asia. Prior to joining Ilmhona, Ozodamo participated and led multiple youth and innovation programs in partnership with international organizations, including the U.S. Embassy and UCA. Ozodamo is also one of the creators of the Founders’ School pre-incubation bootcamp, helping early-stage entrepreneurs develop their ideas into viable startups. Ozodamo supports youth through various volunteering and internship programs including coordination of Tech Girls program in Tajikistan since 2024. Her expertise lies in leadership development, HR systems design, and community building. She holds a background in management and is passionate about empowering the next generation of innovators and changemakers in Central Asia.

  • Sattor Dustmadov

    ARCH Project Manager, Aga Khan Foundation

    Sattor Dustmadov is the ARCH Project Manager at the Aga Khan Foundation, Tajikistan. With a background in social management and a Master’s degree in Muslim Cultures and Civilizations, he brings a deep understanding of the intersection between culture, identity, and community development. Before joining the Aga Khan Foundation, Sattor worked with Aga Khan Education Services as a Humanities teacher and with the University of Central Asia as an Executive Assistant to the Dean’s Office. He is also a Postgraduate Research Fellow exploring how Pamiri architecture embodies and preserves the region’s spiritual and cultural identity.
