He has held leadership and C-suite roles across consumer lending, management consulting, oil and gas, and financial technology industries. He currently serves as the Managing Director of [Credit Direct Finance Company Limited], the fintech arm of [FCMB Group], where he has played a major role in strengthening the company’s market position and profitability. A passionate teacher and leader, Chukwuma has facilitated trainings on business, finance, and strategy for organisations in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of ICAN and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.

• Femi Akinfolarin

  Oluwafemi Akinfolarin leads the Strategy & Investor Relations function at [Wema Bank], bringing over fifteen years of leadership experience in strategy, innovation, and digital transformation within the financial services sector. His expertise spans strategy development and execution, retail banking, fintech, digital banking, innovation, and broader bank and non-bank financial services. Prior to joining Wema Bank, Femi worked at [First Bank of Nigeria], where he managed customer segment strategy development and execution. She holds an LLM with Distinction from the University of Bristol and has built a reputation for combining strategic thinking with creative excellence. As Managing Director of i41 Brokerage Limited, a Lagos-based real estate brokerage, she has led transactions exceeding ₦1.6 billion in property sales, reflecting strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and a client-focused approach. She is also the Creative Director of Stardust Creations, home to the womenswear brands Iremitide and Stardust. Iremitide, known for bespoke bridal and occasion wear, made its runway debut at Lagos Fashion Week and has since styled brides and women for significant life moments. Through her blend of legal insight, business strategy, and creative vision, Modupe continues to champion African excellence, building brands that balance authenticity, craftsmanship, and commercial impact.

  Tayo Odunsi is a seasoned business strategist and operator with nearly two decades of experience across African real estate, finance, investment, and technology markets. Passionate about urban development, affordable housing, and African art, he is the author of the book Affordable: Thinking Differently and Critically About Affordable Housing. He is the founder of [Build Africa], a technology-driven platform helping local and diasporan property builders procure building materials affordably and transparently across multiple states in Nigeria. In 2025, the company’s AI tool received the AI Supernova Award at GITEX Nigeria 2025. Tayo also founded [Northcourt Real Estate] in 2013, growing it into a multi-award-winning investment advisory firm operating across West Africa. Over the years, he has advised institutions including the IMF, Actis, Sterling Bank, ARM, and Urban Shelter. He holds degrees from University of Lagos, Henley Business School, and Imperial College London.
