• Bhanwi Bhardawaj

  Miss Universe, J&K, Model

  Born in Nowshera, Rajouri — a border town where even education is a privilege — Bhanvi’s journey rises from adversity to national recognition. A national-level karate player and the reigning Miss Universe Jammu & Kashmir, she represents the bridge from the border to the national stage. For the past seven years, she has been teaching underprivileged children, using education as her way of giving back to the community she grew up in. An unusual blend of disciplines, Bhanvi is a Computer Science engineer turned lawyer, and today she works as a model and actor, with four years of experience in the industry. A trained theatre artist, she will soon be seen on screen, bringing her craft and her story to a wider audience.

  IAS, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation

  Dr. Devansh Yadav is a distinguished IAS officer from the 2016 batch of the AGMUT cadre. Born on 10 July 1990 in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, he is currently 34 years old. With an impressive academic background, including an M.B.B.S. from AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr. Yadav has seamlessly transitioned from the medical field to public administration. His current posting is as the Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation, where he continues to serve with dedication. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation, where his leadership and strategic thinking are driving impactful initiatives in urban governance. He successfully organized a festival to commemorate the opening of the Tawi Riverfront and also organized the grand Tawi Maha Arti, showcasing his commitment to smart city development and cultural integration.

• Parvati Sehgal

  Indian Television Actress

  Parvati Anil Sehgal is an actor of renown. Her very first acting assignment earned her the coveted award for the Best Actor in Negative Role. She started her career with Star Plus channel in television serial Mann Ki Awaz Pratigya. She played the role of Komal, an illiterate daughter of a rich land lord with an ill temper and repute. Her perfect enunciation of the eastern Uttar Pradesh dialect of Hindi with excellent portrayal of the emotions, endeared her to the viewers who showered much love and appreciation on her. Scores of her fan clubs were created in India and other countries wherever the serial could be watched. A versatile actor that she is, Parvati earned huge fame with her participation in Comedy Circus Ke Superstars, a popular television competitive comedy show on Sony Channel, teaming up with celebrated stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma. Their team was the national winner in the finals of the show earning for them the trophy and a cash prize of one million rupees.

  Sudhir Anand is an educator and endurance athlete who began his fitness journey unexpectedly at the age of 40. Today, he is a multi-city marathoner, ultra-runner and the driving force behind many events like the Jammu Midnight Marathon. He inspires youth with his philosophy of starting small, staying consistent and growing beyond limits.
