Her words often carry a spark of humour, gentle yet powerful enough to make you think, smile, and relate. Mariam Al-Dhubhani
Mariam Al-Dhubhani is a Yemeni-Russian filmmaker, journalist, and curator whose work breathes humanity into stories often overshadowed by conflict. Through her lens, she redefines Yemen not as a land defined by war, but as one of memory, resilience, and untold beauty. A graduate of Northwestern University and UCL Qatar, Mariam blends truth with artistry through film, VR, and documentary storytelling to amplify unheard voices. Her award-winning works, Just Another Memory and In the Middle, intertwine personal history with collective experience. Both witness and storyteller, Mariam captures pain, preserves hope, and reminds us of the enduring power of perspective.
Mohammed Atif
Mohammed Atif is deeply curious about how ideas shape the way we think, learn, and connect with others. A passionate reader, he loves exploring new perspectives and finding meaning in diverse viewpoints. Beyond books, he finds creativity in baking, where patience, precision, and experimentation come together. To him, both reading and baking are journeys of discovery that mirror life’s patterns and lessons. Through speaking, Mohammed channels his reflections into words that others can relate to. He chose TEDx Ideal Indian School as a platform to share an idea that transformed his own way of thinking—one that he hopes will inspire others to see the world differently.
Najla Azad
Najla Azad is a dynamic communicator, creative spirit, and proud Qatari resident for over 35 years. Certified in Fashion Designing and a former Radio Jockey, Najla has always used her voice to inspire, inform, and connect. Her passion for communication led her to Toastmasters in 2021, where her dedication and growth made her a District finalist in International Speech, Evaluation, and Table Topics for 2024–25. She believes in bold expression, continuous growth, and the art of storytelling that moves hearts.
