• Abuzar Madhu

  Abuzar Madhu is a Pakistani performing artist, writer, and activist based in Lahore. He is a founding member of the "Ravi Bachao Tehreek" (Save Ravi Movement), an organization dedicated to protecting the Ravi River from pollution and advocating for its rights. Madhu uses his art, including theatrical performances and storytelling, to raise awareness about environmental degradation and the importance of preserving natural resources. He also highlights the connection between human lives and the environment by collecting folklore from communities living along the riverbanks.

• Dr. Ahmad Ali Gul

  He is the Director of the Center for Disaster Management at UMT, Lahore. With over 15 years of experience, he specializes in flood modeling, fluvial transport, and applying spatial technology to disaster management. His work focuses on creating evidence-based policy and decision support systems for climate adaptation in Pakistan.

• Mehak Masood

  Mehak Masood, a respected Environmentalist and Climate Change Scientist, earned her "Master of Environment" from The University of Melbourne on the Australia Awards Scholarship in 2018. With 15+ years' experience, she led environmental, sustainability, and climate change efforts at Government of Pakistan, UN, USAID, GIZ, The British Council, IUCN, DAI, Interloop, Artistic Milliners and the University of Melbourne. Presently, as National Project Officer, Climate Change in UN-IOM Pakistan, & she also founded Green Women Pakistan. Her global recognition includes representing Pakistan at the Mosaic International Leadership Programme, completing the Climate Reality Project Training by Al Gore, and presenting a green social entrepreneurship project to HRH King Charles.

• Osama Rizvi

  Osama is an international energy and economic analyst with a special focus on political economy of climate change and asymmetry of carbon emission. I am a regular panelist at Sky News, TRT World, CNBC and a partner at World Times International. As the South Asia Chair for the Society for Low Carbon Technologies and an analyst at the U.S.-based Primary Vision Network, his work focuses on energy transitions, climate change, and global commodity markets.

• Romina Khurshid Alam

  Romina Khurshid Alam is the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, will be joining us on our stage. With over two decades of experience in politics and the development sector, she has been instrumental in shaping Pakistan’s climate and environmental policies. She has spearheaded significant legislation, led regional projects on climate adaptation and mitigation, and championed a range of social issues including minority rights and gender equality.

• Tanvir Ahmed

  Dr. Tanvir Ahmad is UNHCR Pakistan’s Energy Officer and Country Lead for Climate Change, driving clean energy solutions for vulnerable communities. A Commonwealth Scholar with a PhD in Renewable Energy from Durham University, he was named UK Alumni of the Year (Social Impact) for his pioneering work in solarizing schools, health facilities, with a focus on gender and vulnerables, proving that sustainable energy can power both resilience and hope. He focuses on how clean energy transforms lives: enabling education for girls, powering healthcare, protecting the environment, and building resilience in the face of climate change. His career reflects a deep commitment to bridging humanitarian action with sustainable development, ensuring that no one is left behind in the transition to a greener and more equitable future.
