• Aicha Dramé

  Wellness Educator

  Aícha Dramé is a Wellness Educator, Plant Alchemist, and founder of Nomadk TeaRoom, a sanctuary where global nomadic wisdom meets the art of herbal healing. She crafts handmade tisanes, restorative elixirs, and seasonal detox blends, each thoughtfully designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. Through immersive tea ceremonies, Aícha weaves herbal medicine with curated soundscapes and intentional atmospheres, creating spaces for reflection, connection, and transformation. Her virtual platform extends this practice, offering rituals, guides, and recipes that cultivate mindful living, and inviting participants to experience the profound alchemy of plants, the quiet power of ritual, and the healing resonance of community, both in the TeaRoom and beyond.

• Chris Yarsawich

  Teacher

  Chris Yarsawich is an MYP/DP English Language & Literature teacher at Atlanta International School. He is originally from Shelton, CT — home to Wiffle Ball and BIC Pens, which he thinks influenced his love of games and writing — but has lived in Georgia since 2012 with his Atlanta-born wife, Nicole. They met at Northeastern University in Boston, where he studied English and Russian Studies. He loves to travel, hike, garden, read and write poetry, play guitar, learn new languages, and enjoys playing all kinds of games with friends, his wife, and two boys, John John and Walter.

• Joanna Vasiloglou

  Student

  Joanna Vasiloglou is a 16-year-old junior who enjoys balancing creativity, curiosity, and connection. Growing up with a twin sister and a younger sister, she’s used to a lively home full of energy and fun. She loves painting as a way to relax and express her imagination. Additionally, she’s passionate about Model United Nations, where she explores global issues and sharpens her debating skills. Fluent in Greek and English, Joanna enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds and especially loves traveling to see family in Greece and South Africa. Friendly and thoughtful, she brings creativity and curiosity to everything she does.

• Kyla Corelli

  Teacher

  Kyla Corelli teaches middle school science at Atlanta International School, balancing lesson plans, chaos, and cat hair with heart. On weekends, she scuba dives or plays soccer—rarely simultaneously. Weeknights find her building miniatures or rebelliously coloring outside the lines. She travels the world with her husband, collecting memories (and questionable souvenirs), but home is where her four cats reign. Special shoutout to Clover, the chicken-loving guilt machine. Kyla’s life? Equal parts adventure, creativity, and feline-approved fabulousness. Iconic in every way.

• Marsha Maxwell

  Head of Innovation, Research, and Technology

  Marsha Maxwell, PhD, is a technology and innovation strategist with two decades of experience driving impact across education, philanthropy, and global development. With a doctorate in Neuroscience from Caltech—where she specialized in psychometrics and computational neuroscience—Marsha blends analytical rigor with systems-level thinking. Her work spans emerging technologies, digital equity, and ethical design, with partnerships that include Google, Microsoft, Fred Hutch, and TechLabs. She is known for translating complex innovation into mission-aligned strategies that deliver measurable results for communities worldwide.

• Noah Kim

  Student

  Noah Kim is a senior at Atlanta International School and a Sri Lankan-Korean American from Portland, Oregon. He cares about the lives of animals, especially in the nation of Sri Lanka, where he visits and volunteers at local organizations every year. Noah works to promote animal welfare in his community and give voices to the voiceless animals. In his free time, Noah is passionate about music production. He also enjoys playing cello, basketball, and running track. In the near future, he plans to major in geography while learning the pre-med track in order to make a difference in public health across all communities around the world.

• Rachel Filipov

  Director of Revenue Marketing

  Rachel Filipov is a marketing leader in the tech industry, with a career spanning over 20 years and seven countries across four continents. Her global journey has fueled a deep curiosity about difference and shaped her passion for building connections across people and cultures. Beyond her professional life, Rachel finds inspiration in her family, modern art, and mentorship.

• Soliana Solomon

  Student

  Soliana Solomon is a second-generation Ethiopian American high school senior at Atlanta International School and is passionate about diplomacy, equity, and youth leadership. As having served as Secretary-General of her school’s Model UN team, she has participated in global conversations on pressing international issues and encourages others to remember that age doesn’t limit your impact. Your voice, ideas, and actions do! From research and advocacy to nonprofit work, Soliana works to empower young voices to drive diverse recoveries through empathy, trust, and leadership. She aspires to double major in Economics and Political Science to further explore how systems shape opportunity and foster inclusive, sustainable global change!
