• Dr. Adnan Mannan

  A life science researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, research institute, and youth-based organizations. Experienced in various techniques of molecular biology, genomics, computational biology, public health, pharmacology, public speaking, and presentations. Adnan is an Education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. focused in Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacology from Curtin University. Adnan Mannan works on epidemiology, molecular basis of diseaes, gut microbiome and genetic regulation of diabetes mellitus. His research interest also includes non-communicable and genetic diseases like hypertension, obesity, hemophilia and infectious diseases namely COVID-19 and pneumonia. More than 40 research articles of Adnan Mannan have been published in prestigious international journals including Lancet infectious diseases, Nature portfolio, BMC public Health, Plos One, Frontiers in Medicine etc. Adnan Mannan got Champion Award in prestigious research presentation competition “Three Minute Thesis” in the final round in Australia. He got “Best Abstract award” 2017 from Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR). He won national and international research grants from Find diagnostics Switzerland, Dalhousie University (Canada), George Washington University (Start up grant), University Grants Commission (UGC) and Ministry of Science & technology Bangladesh. He established collaboration with Oregon State University (USA), The University of Western Australia, George Washign University (USA), icddr,b; Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF). The prime goal of his teaching is to inspire students to be skilled, knowledgeable, optimistic and a good human being. Adnan wants to help students figure out who they are and how they can be of service to their community. He wants to touch as many lives as he can.

• Dr. Muhammad Imadur Rahman

  Dr. Imadur Rahman, a pioneering technologist and former Head of Research at Ericsson with over 300 US patents, has taken charge as Managing Director of Bangladesh Satellite Communication Limited (BSCL) under the interim government. Widely respected for his groundbreaking work in wireless communication and community leadership, Dr. Rahman brings a wealth of global experience back to Bangladesh. Beyond technology, Dr. Rahman is also deeply engaged in humanitarian efforts. He serves as Chairman of Muslim Aid Sweden Chapter and is well-known in Stockholm for his contributions to social welfare and leadership.

• Jakaria Jalal

  Jakaria Jalal is distinguished BUET alumnus in Chemical Engineering, Jakaria Jalal's journey is a testament to unwavering determination and adaptability. With three master's degrees in diverse fields from prestigious institutions, he seamlessly bridges the realms of engineering, business, and economics. From his start as a Customer Relation Officer at Linde Bangladesh Ltd., through pivotal roles at Petredec Elpiji and LAUGFS Gas, Jakaria Jalal today leads the most strategic and complex projects at Bashundhara Chemical Industries. His innovative strategies have set new benchmarks across Bangladesh's energy sector—demonstrating that true resilience is built through consistent effort and adaptive leadership.

• Muhammad Sajal

  After completing his BS and MPH in Nutrition, Muhammad Sajal has shined in two distinct spectrums of the field: clinical nutrition and community-based services. He is a member of the American Society for Nutrition, and previously served as National Coordinator (Nutrition) for Terre des Hommes Switzerland in Bangladesh, a globally renowned humanitarian organization. He is currently working with Thyrocare Bangladesh, the largest preventive healthcare lab in the world. He has received advanced training in CMAM, IYCF, and adolescent nutrition through programs led by UNICEF, UNHCR, and others allowing him to address critical health challenges across Bangladesh. From consulting at leading wellness clinics to publishing bestselling books (2018–2022), Muhammad Sajal has made it his mission to simplify nutrition science and make well-being accessible to all. His work challenges misinformation, empowers individuals to take charge of their health, and advocates for food security and systemic change.

• Prof. Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam

  Prof. Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam is a distinguished civil and earthquake engineering expert, former Vice-Chancellor of CUET, RUET and USTC, and now a respected Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at CUET. With a career spanning 40+ years, Dr Alam has shaped Bangladesh’s engineering education and infrastructure. From earning his Civil Engineering degree at CUET to completing advanced studies in India and Macedonia, his work bridges theory and real-world resilience. He is recognized nationally and internationally for his contributions to engineering education. He has held prestigious leadership roles, including Vice-Chancellor at three major universities and Chairman of Chattogram WASA. His work has earned him numerous accolades, including the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and the UNESCO Educational Achievement Award.

• Prof. Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqib

  Professor

  Dr Naqib earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Rajshahi and, in 2003, received a Commonwealth Scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. He then completed postdoctoral research at Cambridge and New Zealand’s MacDiarmid Institute, where he cemented his reputation in condensed‑matter physics. Today, Prof Dr Naqib leads Bangladesh’s foremost theoretical condensed matter research group, boasting over 175 high‑impact publications and more than 5,737 citations. As a fellow of the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, TWAS, the Bangladesh Physical Society, the Institute of Physics (UK), the American Physical Society, and the Cambridge Philosophical Society, he has been honored with the BAS Gold Medal, TWAS Young Scientist Prize, Razzaq‑Shamsun Physics Research Award, S. N. Nahar Physics Teacher of the Year Award, multiple Dean’s Awards, and has ranked among the world’s top 2% of scientists for four consecutive years.

• Zubuyer Kaolin

  Zubuyer Kaolin blends storytelling with science through stunning visual work that has been recognized by NASA, the European Space Agency, Sony, Adobe, and the Canadian Space Agency. His astrophotography, captured even from light-polluted skies in Dhaka, has reached millions worldwide. His winning image in DarkSky International’s “Capture the Dark” contest was exhibited at the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, highlighting the beauty and urgency of protecting our night skies. Beyond the lens, he is a vocal advocate for reducing light pollution and fostering astronomy education in Bangladesh. His goal is to spark curiosity in the next generation while pushing the limits of creative expression through space, light, and story.
