In our inaugural TEDxITE College Central Youth event, we aim to showcase voices that inspire change, challenge perspectives, and spark meaningful conversations. Across domains, we will hear from speakers who lead with both intellect and heart, proving that progress is MOST powerful when driven by authenticity and humanity. These talks will uncover the many ways the heart influences our choices, fuels innovation, and builds bridges between people. Whether literal or metaphorical, the heart remains at the core of every story, every breakthrough, and every act of courage. Join us for an afternoon of ideas, inspiration, and ELEVATION where head meets HEART, and where every voice has the power to make a difference.

  • Dave Teng

    Founder, Hairfolio. A salon known for timeless fuss-free styles that complement personalities

    A sought-after celebrity stylist- in the fashion and media circuits. Styled for local and international artistes (Frances Yip, The Corrs, David Foster, Vanness Wu, and wife of an Aerosmith member). Earned a Special Prize at the Tokyo E Toco 50th Anniversary Hair Competition, remaining the only non-Japanese ever to receive such recognition. His lifelong passion mirrors a powerful and purposeful theme. With deep experience in workshops and media engagement, Dave delivers insights with clarity, authenticity, and resonance.

    Student, ITE College Central and President of Gavel Club

    President of the ITE College Central Gavel Club, a Toastmasters-affiliated platform that develops public speaking, communication, and leadership skills among students. From the Normal Technical stream, her story reflects perseverance, determination, and the ability to rise above challenges. Her journey demonstrates how setbacks can be turned into opportunities for personal growth and leadership.

    CEO of Crush Media Network, a Singapore based, full-service digital marketing tech company

    Named one of the Top 10 PSB Academy Singapore Alumni Leaders (2023) by CEO Insights Asia, highlighting his trajectory as an emerging leader in digital marketing and content creation. His journey began at age 17 when he lost 70 kg through diet, inspiring him to share his story online via vlogs, blogs, and social media platforms. He built a reputation for promoting 'good content' over perfection; a philosophy that encourages rapid, effective communication and authentic storytelling in the digital space.
