• Aleksandra Nagańska

  criminologist

  Her doctoral project brings together microeconomics, psychology, and criminology to analyze susceptibility to financial scams in different contexts. Her research interests focus on economic crime, financial inclusion, and the behavioral aspects of decision-making. Using experimental methods, she currently analyzes how financial scarcity and well-being affect susceptibility to fraud.

• Ewelina Kinalska

  germanist

  A Germanist, language teacher, and PhD student in linguistics, her academic work explores the psycholinguistic mechanisms by which language shapes our emotions and perception of the world. She is the author of German language learning books and nationwide language competitions. For several years, she worked as an academic teacher, and today she shares her expertise as an instructor on the Udemy platform while developing her career in ICT security. She combines the humanities with technology, and in her private life also with sport – as a marathon runner and investor, she believes that the ability to reinterpret experiences is key to both learning and everyday decision-making.

• Isti Marta Sukma

  cybersecurity specialist

  Originally from Indonesia, she is a PhD student working at the intersection of theoretical and empirical research on cybersecurity, emerging technologies, public policy, and geopolitics. In her doctoral project, she uses machine learning to examine how cybersecurity policies diffuse across the Indo-Pacific region. She is also developing a new theoretical framework called techno-realism. By combining computational methods with political science theory, she analyzes how technology shapes security and governance systems, how these dynamics are reflected in policy and law, and how they can contribute to sustainable technological development.

• Joanna Dolińska

  linguist

  PhD, is an assistant professor at the University of Warsaw's Faculty of „Artes Liberales”, Center for Research and Practice in Cultural Continuity, and a member of the Horizon Europe “Fosterlang” project coordinated by Prof. Justyna Olko. Joanna carries out research in the field of computational linguistics, multilingualism and historical linguistics. She currently leads the project “Interdependence of multilingualism and biodiversity in the Chiang Mai and Satun provinces in Thailand”. Joanna gained her current academic experience during post-doctoral fellowships, grants and scholarships, among others, in the Max Planck Institute for Geoanthropology, Smithsonian Institution, University of Cambridge, Mahidol University, University of Groningen, University of Strasbourg and National University of Mongolia.

• Karolina Kosieradzka

  theatrologist

  A theatrologist and graduate of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, her research focuses on the Polish-Jewish theatre community during the Holocaust. She is professionally involved in theatre as an artistic coordinator.

• Maciej Misztal

  urbanist

  A PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences and an employee of the Urban Lab at the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies. His work combines social research methods with spatial analysis to study the development of cities and regions. He is currently focusing on the concept of the 15-minute city. He collaborates on research projects with local governments, central administration, and the third sector.

• Patrycja Ściślewska

  neurobiologist

  A neurobiologist fascinated by sleep and the biological clock. In her doctoral research, she combines methods from biology, psychology, and mathematics to study the effects of sleep deprivation on brain activity. She also explores the biological foundations of our circadian rhythms. Her work aims to understand why some individuals perform best in the early morning while others excel in the late evening, and how these differences influence emotions, behavior, and mental health. She is passionate about science communication.

• Piotr Sosnowski

  politologist

  Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw. His research focuses on the security policy of de facto states, Kurdish studies, disinformation and information operations. He is a researcher in the Horizon Europe project Secure Automated Framework for Exchange (SAUFEX.eu) aimed at countering foreign information manipulation and interference. He holds a PhD in security studies from the University of Warsaw.

• Saha Abhigyan

  physicist

  His research interests include knot theory, topological quantum field theory, and quantum information theory. A former national debating champion and an aspiring scientist, he sees science communication as the ideal intersection of his skills.

• Szymon Zajda

  phisicist

  A PhD candidate and teaching assistant affiliated with the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw, where he has worked for the past five years. He has also studied at universities in the United Kingdom and South Korea. His research focuses on beta and gamma decay in exotic atomic nuclei, and he participates in experiments conducted at international nuclear laboratories across Europe. His work contributes to a deeper understanding of the processes responsible for the formation of heavy elements in stars and brings us closer to a more complete picture of nuclear structure.
