  • Ali Majeed

    Ali Majeed is a 17-year-old student from Pakistan and an aspiring mechatronics engineer. Currently pursuing his A levels, he has a strong interest in mathematics and has participated in competitions such as the UKMT and KenKen. Beyond academics, Ali is passionate about exploring the mental challenges individuals face, especially in high-pressure environments like sports. His work aims to bring attention to the hidden emotional struggles that often go unnoticed behind performance and success.

  • Bassam Assaf

    Bassam Assaf is a student based in Dubai and the founder of DXB Hoops, a youth basketball tournament uniting players citywide. Passionate about technology, he’s contributed to projects like ExamVault, an AI-powered study tool, and an AI call analysis platform to improve meeting performance. Outside of tech and sports, Bassam trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, plays basketball, and actively organizes school and community events. When he’s not busy, he enjoys desserts and catching up on sleep.

  • Fares Al Ademi

    A 14-year old, entering his GCSE, getting ready to face a new reality, but achieving quite a lot, in the last year, like a runner-up in the Islamic reciting competition, and even receiving academic excellence in particular subjects, to playing and doing sports like, football and volleyball, the best of all, is that he was welcomed to TedX, as he gets, a brilliant opportunity, to show, what he could do, to the community and how can it change their minds, and show the Globe, what he is made of.

  • Joshua McGregor

    Joshua McGregor, 18, has Scottish and Indian roots and has lived in Dubai since he was seven. A passionate public speaker, he gave his first TEDx talk at 13 and recently led the TEDx Sunmarke event. An aspiring motorsport engineer and Formula 1 fan, Joshua has completed internships and a data-driven project on the 2025 F1 calendar. He also captained his school’s U19 football team. Now in his final year, he returns to the TEDx stage to share his love for Formula 1.

  • Krish Guyer

    Born to an American father and Indian mother, and raised in the UAE with a British education, Krish Thomas Guyer is currently pursuing the IB diploma. He believes life goes far beyond academics and work. Driven by curiosity, Krish is exploring how our consciousness shapes the way we experience life. Today, he shares his belief that no scientific proof can match the power of living consciously.

  • Liam McGregor

    Student

    Liam McGregor, 12 years old and originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, has called the UAE home for the past decade. At just 8 years old, he delivered his first Tedx talk, and at 11, his second. An avid reader, Liam counts The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Gone Series among his favourite books. He's actively engaged in various competitions, including the World Scholars Cup, KenKen, UK Maths Trust Challenge, and piano recitals. Beyond academics, Liam finds joy in playing the piano and taking part in sports such as football, basketball, and swimming. With a passion for public speaking, he feels privileged to take the Ted stage once again.

  • Mira Salah

    Student

    Mira salah is a 13 year old in year 9 from Egypt. She's passionate about gymnastics, writing, public speaking, performing, and learning new languages. Mira also runs her own online business and is always looking for new ways to grow and express herself. She joined TEDx because she loves presenting and speaking on stage. With big dreams of becoming either a TV presenter or a lawyer, Mira is excited to use her voice to make a difference and inspire others.

  • Miraya Singh

    Miraya is a creative 11-year-old with a love for singing and basketball. She expresses her imagination and feelings through writing stories and poems. Alongside her artistic side, Miraya’s curiosity shines in her enthusiasm for math and science, reflecting her well-rounded and inquisitive spirit.

  • Natalie Morcos

    Natalie is from Egypt and has a big passion for football, bringing energy and enthusiasm both on and off the field.

  • Saara Paudyal

    Saara Paudyal is a 17-year-old Year 12 student from Nepal with a strong passion for science, sustainability, and driving positive change. As Head of her school’s Eco Committee, she leads initiatives to raise environmental awareness and inspire action in her community. In her talk, she sheds light on the often-overlooked environmental footprint of artificial intelligence, revealing its impact on water resources, mineral extraction, and global ethics. Saara invites us to rethink how we use technology and envision a future where innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.

  • Sandiaga Salilatu

    Hello, my name is Sandiaga Salilatu and I am in Year 8. I am 13 years old and I am from Indonesia. I love playing the piano and I love sculpting. I have my own business called Craft House and I have been inspired to share my ideas and thoughts to people which is why I decided to audition for this event.

    A passionate storyteller and confident speaker. From winning piano competitions to coding and writing fiction, Sandiaga brings creativity into everything they do. They’re also part of the Ramadan assembly team and co-host the Deen Talks podcast. Whether on stage, behind a mic, or at a piano, Sandiaga is always ready to share something meaningful.

  • Shanaya Ghosh

    Shanaya is an enthusiastic 11-year-old who has a passion for music and sports. She loves to play the piano, where she expresses her creativity and enjoys the beauty of melodies. She is currently in Trinity College, grade 2! Shanaya is an avid swimmer and enjoys playing tennis and badminton, finding joy in both the water and on the court. With her vibrant personality and diverse interests, she embraces every opportunity to learn and grow!
