    Aashi, 13, is a curious and creative student passionate about art, architecture, and design. Aashi enjoys exploring how people and ideas have evolved over time. Constantly seeking opportunities to grow and learn, she brings a thoughtful and imaginative perspective to everything she does.

  • Abbas Alidina

    Year 9 Student

    Abbas, 14, from Mombasa, Kenya, is passionate about learning, adventure, and the performing arts. For Abbas, performing arts are more than just being on stage, they’re about expression, teamwork, and creativity. He believes they help people grow, build confidence, and discover their true voice while bringing meaning and connection to the world.

    Year 10 student

    Aurelia, 15, is passionate about girls’ education and youth empowerment. Having studied in six schools across five countries, she brings a global outlook to learning and equity. Through TEDx, she aims to amplify young voices, inspire change, and strengthen her public speaking skills.

    Ben, a Year 12 humanities student and a member of the executive student leadership team is passionate about New Zealand history and challenging misconceptions about the humanities. A former award-winning MUN participant, he believes true intelligence isn’t measured in megabytes per second.

    Elina, 11, is inspired by the powerful role PR plays in shaping public perception and driving positive social change, especially in areas like technology and community impact. With a mature perspective and a heart for influence, Elina aspires to one day help create meaningful conversations that make the world a better place.

    Elsie is a passionate and thoughtful student who cares deeply about the planet. With a love for theatre and reading, she explores environmental issues like rising sea levels, focusing on the vulnerable island nation of Tuvalu. Having witnessed environmental impacts firsthand, including seeing a glacier up close, she hopes to raise awareness and inspire others to take action to protect our world.

    Year 7 Student

    Fawaz, 12, from Jordan, is a curious and creative student passionate about learning, sustainability, and sharing ideas. A World Scholars Cup participant fluent in 3 languages, he loves reading, writing, and public speaking and hopes to inspire others through TEDx.

    Ghita is a determined young leader who believes age never limits the power to inspire. She believes that true leadership isn’t defined by titles, but by qualities like empathy, resilience, and the courage to take action. In her TEDx Talk, she encourages others to see their potential and spark change through small actions.

    Year 12 Student

    Isabella, a Year 12 student from Ireland, is passionate about media and communication. She is particularly drawn to how digital platforms like Google are not replacing journalism, but reshaping it, offering new and dynamic ways to inform and connect with wider audiences.

  • Luciana Baasch Geretti

    Year 7 Student

    Luciana, 12, is a confident and compassionate student, who has performed at Dubai Opera three times. There she’s grown in confidence and aims to use her TEDx Talk to inspire positivity and care for others and the environment. She brings genuine enthusiasm to everything she does, especially school. Now, she's excited to take another brave step forward by sharing her voice on the TEDx stage.

A devoted Formula 1 enthusiast, she hopes to combine her love for chemistry and motorsport to drive innovation and push the boundaries of racing technology.
