TEDxTractorul 2025 Brings the Theme “Mindset” and 12 Remarkable Speakers to Brașov Brașov, September 2025 – On September 27, the Ballroom Hall of Hotel Sport, Ana Hotels – Poiana Brașov will host TEDxTractorul 2025, a full day dedicated to transformative thinking under the theme “Mindset.” Twelve exceptional speakers will share authentic perspectives on human potential, courage, reconnection, and conscious leadership. An independently organized TEDx event, TEDxTractorul is part of the global TEDx network, offering impactful ideas in talks of up to 18 minutes. Mindset is more than a theme—it’s a call to reflection on how our thinking shapes decisions, relationships, resilience, and professional paths. The 2025 lineup features changemakers who have turned beliefs into action and empathy into social transformation. Audiences will hear stories of vulnerability as courage, leadership rooted in values, and initiatives that unite communities. Talks will span from cosmic dreams to deep personal reconnection, theatre as a space for truth, sports as a driver of inclusion, and practical education as a builder of resilient, conscious communities. “TEDxTractorul is more than an event—it’s a community of ideas in motion. We want participants to leave inspired, connected, and ready to explore new paths,” say the organizers.

  • Aliz Kosza

    Business Mentor & Strategist

    With a 46-year career, Aliz Kosza is one of Romania’s most experienced businesswomen. She led companies like MOL Romania, Orkla Foods, and Fabryo, driving growth in 25 industries and building iconic brands: Poiana, Tomi, Wiesana, Bunica, Ardealul, Linco, MOL, Savana. Since the ’90s, she has shaped modern retail and trained top leaders. Since 2012, as Business Mentor and Strategist, and EBRD consultant, she has revitalized over 120 Romanian businesses. She created “Inward Business Mentorship” and the “Soul in Business” conferences, now in their 10th year.

  • Anca Băcanu

    Director & Profesor, Coordinator of the “Amprente” Theatre Troupe

    Anca Maria Băcanu is a unique voice in Romanian theater, seeking inner truth over spectacle. With 20+ years as a social sciences teacher and leader of the “Amprente” troupe at “Grigore Antipa” College, she bridges education, art, and human growth. A pioneer of non-formal educational theater, she inspires reflection and empathy among youth. Currently pursuing a master’s in directing at the University of Arts, Târgu Mureș, she has staged 23 acclaimed shows with “Amprente,” winning 90+ awards and performing at major festivals including FITS and the National Theater Festival. Working at the crossroads of directing, playwriting, and facilitation, she sees theater not as escape, but as a space for vulnerability, humanity, and connection. 🎭 “Everything is possible; the important thing is not to give up believing in what you feel you must do.”

    Bogdan Moldovan is a discreet yet visionary leader in Romanian medicine. A specialist in general surgery and renal transplantation, he built a center of excellence in Brașov with international partners like Prof. Gilles Mentha, placing Romania on Europe’s transplant map. A UMF Târgu Mureș graduate with training in France and Switzerland, he returned home to prove top medical standards can thrive beyond university hubs. Leading the Renal Transplant Center, he bridges the public system with modern innovation. Known for combining surgical skill with empathy, he listens, explains, and reassures, restoring the doctor-patient relationship as a foundation of healing.     Photographer & Filmmaker, Founder of Wild Romania

    Dan Dinu is one of Romania's most respected nature photographers, known for how he transforms wild landscapes into visual stories that move and educate. With a career dedicated to documenting biodiversity, Dan has become an essential voice in promoting the country's natural values, blending art with scientific documentation. He is the initiator of the "Wild Romania" project, the most extensive endeavor to promote Romanian nature, which includes an educational platform, a traveling exhibition, and an award-winning documentary. The project has become a national benchmark for visual communication dedicated to nature. Dan is also a founding member of Forona – the Romanian Nature Photographers' Organization, through which he encourages a community of professionals and enthusiasts to explore nature with respect, patience, and awareness.

    Ioana Stănescu is a consultant in baby sleep and conscious parenting, an online safety coach for parents, founder of the Nani Nani Bebeluș platform, and a guide for thousands of families seeking balance. For over 7 years, she has been helping parents—especially mothers—navigate challenges related to sleep, boundaries, and real needs in a gentle, informed, and deeply connected way. Her mission stems from a strong belief: a mother's sacrifice to the point of exhaustion is not an ideal, but an inherited burden that can be transformed. Ioana guides mothers to rediscover themselves as women, starting with the most basic act of care—sleep. She believes that rest is a right and a need, not a luxury, and that a child can learn to sleep without unnecessary crying when the parent is supported, not judged. He has trained coaches with disabilities, facilitated legislative changes, and brought courage where others saw limits.     Co-Founder Dăruiește Viață Association

    Oana Gheorghiu is a remarkable example of personal transformation and deep civic engagement. After leading the Romanian operations of a French company, she chose to dedicate her energy and experience to a greater cause: the common good. In 2012, together with Carmen Uscatu, she co-founded the NGO Dăruiește Viață, making a decisive contribution to shifting paradigms within Romania’s healthcare system. Under her coordination, the construction of the first independent pediatric oncology hospital in Romania was launched. This groundbreaking project, funded entirely through donations and sponsorships, serves as a beacon of hope for Romanian society. Active, determined, and deeply empathetic, Oana fights not only against bureaucracy but also for reminding people that civic involvement is a transformative force. Her voice remains powerful, credible, and mobilizing, whether on stage at a conference or out in the streets among people.

  • Pierre Bortnowski

    Architect, Co-Founder of Kraft Campus

    After studying architecture in Brussels and completing an MBA at HEC Paris, Pierre Bortnowski settled in Romania in 2009, drawn by the potential of reconnecting education with the practice of craftsmanship. He coordinated the PRISPA project (2010–2013), the first Romanian student team to qualify for the Solar Decathlon Europe—an international sustainable architecture competition. For over a decade, through Artis Peritia, he organized summer restoration workshops, learning directly from master craftsmen—carpenters, blacksmiths, and earth builders—and blending on-site experience with architectural office work. Today, he is the co-founder of Kraft Campus, a vocational school for construction developed with Marius Soflete—a project that redefines how constructive skills are passed on in Romania.

    Teodora Mețiu is a warm and powerful presence in the fields of alternative education, transformational coaching, and the art of communication through words, voice, and movement. She has created personal development programs for women, teenagers, educators, and emerging leaders — offering spaces where authenticity, vulnerability, and trust can truly flourish. With a strong background in television, government communication, and public speaking, Teodora guides people through journeys of inner reconnection and conscious expression. She is the founder of Romania’s first School of Oratory, where more than 5,000 people have learned to express their ideas clearly, discover their authentic voice, and build confidence in their personal presence. Working at the intersection of emotional intelligence, conscious voice, and personal leadership, she brings to each process a rare combination of gentleness, clarity, and the courage to be yourself — with both light and shadow.

  • Timea Lőrincz

    Aerospace Engineering Student (TUM), 1st Place Winner – NSS Space Settlement Contest 2022

    Timea Lőrincz is currently studying aerospace engineering at the prestigious Technical University of Munich (TUM). She is deeply passionate about aeronautics, space exploration, and modern physics. In 2022, she won first place in the international NASA NSS Space Settlement Contest for designing a sustainable human habitat in space — a bold vision inspired in part by Romania’s only cosmonaut, Dumitru Prunariu. She was officially recognized by the Romanian Government during the “Henri Coandă” Awards Gala, representing a new generation of young Romanians who dream and act for the future of humanity beyond Earth. 🎯 Her ambition is to contribute to the next wave of international space missions — and perhaps, one day, continue the tradition born in Brașov: to reach the stars.
