Breaking Point

Took placeJune 1, 2025
LocationBodrum, Muğla, Turkey
FormatYouth
The great transformations of humanity, which we call breaking points, play a major role in the leaps in world history. Throughout history, humanity has witnessed great turning points. Breaking points of humanity are important events, discoveries or developments that change the course of societies, civilizations and the world. The potential breakpoints that humanity may face in the future will be quite wide-ranging, given current technological, scientific and social trends. One topic will be AI as a breaking point in education, but the teaching framework will always be provided by the teacher. It is teachers who drive education, AI can only support education. Artificial intelligence, which directs the learner and the teacher to research in common conditions, will bring democracy in education to the top, provided that it is used correctly. Addressing this topic at the TEDx Youth conference will create a great resonance on a platform of speakers, teachers and students who are experts in different fields. Ideas that shape the future of education will emerge. Audiences wondering what direction education will take in the future will have many new ideas. Speakers, teachers and students who are experts in different fields can arouse the curiosity of the audience with good ideas to be discussed at the TEDx conference. Experts, pedagogues, artists, artists, academics, teachers and students who will give their opinions on AI can form the speaker platform. Another topic is the space age that opens the doors of time. It will play a major role in shaping the future by opening unexplored doors for humanity. This era will offer not only technological and scientific advances, but also new habitats, resources and possibilities for humanity. Establishing colonies in space will allow us to discover new energy sources that will reduce population pressure on Earth and provide solutions to energy crises. Space exploration will also lead to breakthroughs in health, biotechnology and materials science. These major steps will redefine humanity's resilience, adaptability and capacity to transcend limits. The space age will usher in a new era in understanding humanity's place and role in the universe, and in exploring ourselves and our limits. Our other topic of conversation is digital identity systems. It requires the storage and processing of personal data. Protecting this data raises the question of whether security measures against possible data breaches are adequate. In the event of a data breach, there is a risk that users' personal information could be compromised by malicious people. What are the measures to be taken in this regard? What kind of protocols can be organized at this point in the future? These are just a few of the topics that our speakers will address. On June 1st, we will meet at TED Bodrum College!
